Hotel is in the marina close to train station beaches and a selection of restaurants at the marina. The restaurant was good and a nice bar area by the pool.

Good as it was, it wasn't cheap.... and I think I would have to weigh up the cost vs. the benefits if I was heading to Mataro again. That said there wasn't anything specific to the hotel I didn't like, so I would recommend it for sure.

The hotel was very comfortable, in a great location by the town's marina (and close to restaurants for evening meals), and had secure underground parking which our group used. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The restaurant was good (we ate there 1 evening out of 4), with the breakfast especially good.

Only paper cups on the room but we asked for a regular tea mugs in the restaurant, so even this was fixed easily:) The style of bed duvets was very frustrating. Bed cover was between 2 bed sheets and it always fell off, very inconvenient.

Just perfect breakfasts!!! Everything was so comfortable, supportive staff (especially in the restaurant, they even warmed our child's food in the microwave), very pretty location and excellent view to the port and The sea!! We really enjoyed!

Nothing not to like .

The location was perfect near beach , harbour , restaurants and train station. The room was spacious and very clean . Lovely view of harbour from balcony. Staff were all excellent and very obliging . Had a very enjoyable stay .

The staff was amazing, I did not get his name but the gentlman that checked me in on arrival and out on departure was great, I was there to watch the motogp and was in need of a permanent marker in case I had an opportunity for autographs and he loaned me one (which I returned) I was very grateful. The room was neat and clean and the area is a little more quiet than the chaos in Barcelona making driving around and getting too/from the even nice and easy.

When we first came into the reception area the man behind the desk was so friendly and helpful, I forget his name but he made us feel so welcome.

The breakfast is OK but could be a bit more varied and the hotel which was very fresh when we started using it in 2016 could be freshened up a bit by now (for example, there are stains on the wall-to-wall carpets in the corriroors), but it is still in OK shape overall.

Over the past 8 years we have stayed in this hotel some ten times, and it remains our favourite in the area. It is an excellent alternative to staying in Barcelona, which is much more expensive, while from this hotel in Mataro, one can easily reach Barcelona by train or car. The parking at a reasonable price and with particularly large parking spots is a notable plus.

The gym needs an update in order to function better. Lady in the spa looked tired and we didn't feel welcome there asking about the massages.

Some things need renovation or small repairs. - the washbasin was not secure enough. Was afraid that it can fall - the toilet paper holder just fell off - no toilet brush

The hotel improved a bit. Particularly, the breakfast is now much better than it was before. They added vegetables and not so much oily and fat food. The rest is on the same level, the best hotel in Mataro.

Air Conditioning appeared to only supply hot air - Maybe a summer and Winter thing but very difficult to get temperature below 25c except by having Window open.

The room was comfortable and well equipped. Shower was powerful and good water temperature. Had room with view over Marina - Great watching the boats etc. in the high winds that prevailed during my Stay.. Breakfast choices were very good except for the scrambled egg. Which I feel was made in a big batch and then left to fester in a warming pan in the restaurant.

Great location, great night's sleep. Would totally recommend. Right by the train station so you could use is as a base to go to other places. As a runner great promenade and port to run around with beautiful views. Private parking for 10euros a night

*Sadly, Indoor pool wasn’t allowed for kids *We asked for ice and was told we need to pay 5euros for it🙁 *Breakfast was ok, but couldn’t expect more gor 11euros pp *Rooms were hot and airco wasn’t working, but luckily we kept the door open to let in cold air *Of course while the doors are open you could hear people talking until like 2am *Parking can be tricky, dont go to Mataro port for parking. Look where there’s a P sign that’ll say private parking that’ll lead you to a narrow parking underneath

Hotel is 5min walk from Mataro train station. A good option if you wish to stay at the seaside, but just 45min ride to BCN. *Good comfy beds *Staff were nice *Complimentary drinks in the fridge *Lots of restaurant options by the seaside *Several play area for kids near the restos *Pool was a plus but too cold for December *Private parking under the hotel, and you will be given access cards to get in and out

A bit overrated.... Closer to three stars, rather than four
