The sound insulation between some rooms could be improved as you could hear the neighbours shutting the main door.

Not a thing. Although the hard rock music in the elevator took me back a few decades.

To me, the staff makes the experience. Our experience was perfect thanks to the helpful staff. Everyone was a professional. The property is clean, pool was awesome, food was good and the drinks served cold. We will definitely return.

Excellent location -walking distance to both the beach & the train into Barcelona, as well as many great restaurants. Pool is wonderful, has a bar area, & was never crowded. Great view from our room. Secure, inside parking for a reasonable fee.

Family room a little worn out, needs fixes for little things and a thorough deep clean for e.g. ventilation hood in the kitchen, cupboards etc.

I felt the hotel was on the expensive side, bearing in mind that I made no use of the gym and spa facilities.

Great location, helpful staff, good restaurant, nice sized pool, secure underground car park and a comfortable and clean room are all reasons for me to recommend this hotel. Located by the marina this hotel has a number of excellent restaurants close by.

Hotel is in the marina close to train station beaches and a selection of restaurants at the marina. The restaurant was good and a nice bar area by the pool.

Friendly stuff, affordable rates, good breakfast for just 12 euro. Train station with frequent services to Barcelona.

Good as it was, it wasn't cheap.... and I think I would have to weigh up the cost vs. the benefits if I was heading to Mataro again. That said there wasn't anything specific to the hotel I didn't like, so I would recommend it for sure.

The hotel was very comfortable, in a great location by the town's marina (and close to restaurants for evening meals), and had secure underground parking which our group used. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The restaurant was good (we ate there 1 evening out of 4), with the breakfast especially good.

Only paper cups on the room but we asked for a regular tea mugs in the restaurant, so even this was fixed easily:) The style of bed duvets was very frustrating. Bed cover was between 2 bed sheets and it always fell off, very inconvenient.

Just perfect breakfasts!!! Everything was so comfortable, supportive staff (especially in the restaurant, they even warmed our child's food in the microwave), very pretty location and excellent view to the port and The sea!! We really enjoyed!

Nothing not to like .

The location was perfect near beach , harbour , restaurants and train station. The room was spacious and very clean . Lovely view of harbour from balcony. Staff were all excellent and very obliging . Had a very enjoyable stay .

The staff was amazing, I did not get his name but the gentlman that checked me in on arrival and out on departure was great, I was there to watch the motogp and was in need of a permanent marker in case I had an opportunity for autographs and he loaned me one (which I returned) I was very grateful. The room was neat and clean and the area is a little more quiet than the chaos in Barcelona making driving around and getting too/from the even nice and easy.

There was nothing we didn't like

When we first came into the reception area the man behind the desk was so friendly and helpful, I forget his name but he made us feel so welcome.

The breakfast is OK but could be a bit more varied and the hotel which was very fresh when we started using it in 2016 could be freshened up a bit by now (for example, there are stains on the wall-to-wall carpets in the corriroors), but it is still in OK shape overall.

Over the past 8 years we have stayed in this hotel some ten times, and it remains our favourite in the area. It is an excellent alternative to staying in Barcelona, which is much more expensive, while from this hotel in Mataro, one can easily reach Barcelona by train or car. The parking at a reasonable price and with particularly large parking spots is a notable plus.
