Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandOnly 2 keys allocated for a 4 person room. Proves difficult at night if everyone doesnt arrive back together as without a key you cannot gain entrance to gated complex. I would happily pay extra for the safety of knowing you had own key.

SpainThe check out time was far too early especially for an apartment which was not a serviced apartment. Expecting people to check out on a Sunday morning at 10:00 is completely unreasonable. However, we knew this so we enquired about a late check out and we were advised by the receptionist at the Hotel Perla we did not have to book the late check out but if we did oversleep then we would just need to pay the 50€ which was clearly displayed on the reception desk. We did sleep in and we were prepared to pay the 50€ but when we checked out we were charged 80€ - equivalent to another overnight stay, so we may as well have stayed another night and ensured we checked out the next morning before 10:00, unfortunately we could not do this so we ended up having to pay the 80€. We were told the 50€ charge related only to the actual hotel. Very disappointing to say the least and the receptionist was very rude, unhelpful and not considerate to our situation. No-one even came to the room to clean it at 10:00 so why the demand on an early check out perplexed us. We believe this to be a deliberate ploy to extract additional income. Will NEVER use these apartments again and whilst the check out times are noted on Booking.com they are not clear when it comes to the "punishment" should you choose to check out late.
The location was ideal and we knew exactly where we were staying as we have visited Benidorm many times before. The apartment was modern, the shower was excellent and the kitchen facilities were first class.

United Kingdomthere is a electric hob but no oven, is dated by working microwave, there was no toaster very surprised at this as all self catering apartments I have stayed in provided a toaster.
location great opposite the Hotel Perla, overall adequate but nice apartment, was on 6th floor (with a working lift) so had a decent view including the sea. small but decent bathroom with walk in shower which was handy for mum being unsteady on her legs. lovely big balcony but only got sun in late afternoon/evening. Pool downstairs fairly big and couple days very quiet, not a lot if sun beds and not the most comfortable either.
