Nothing to fault

It is in a great location, very short walk to the beach and local shops and restaurants. The apartment itself was spotless and very modern . Had a lovely balcony and had all the facilities like , fridge, microwave, washing machine, hob etc. bed was very comfortable. Loved the digital entry system as no keys to worry about losing.

The property is well maintained and the host is exceptionally accommodating. When on holidays we like to cook in on a few occasions. however there was no barbeque or oven . this is the only problem with this property. The view is lovely and in very close to all restaurant's and coffee shops

We like to eat in at night, not least because my hubby has intolerances, which can affect his chronic Cluster headache. There was not much cooking equipment, ie no grill or oven, but there is a microwave, induction plate and toaster. And an amazing large fridge freezer! For people who eat out, this wouldn't be a problem. And we did manage OK. But a grill and oven would have been much better, more pans with lids too and items such as a sieve for rice and kitchen tools in the cutlery drawer. Apart from that, it is well furnished and a lovely apartment in a great location with fantastic responsive management staff. (I do think that air con is essential in the bedrooms, though... for a comfortable night's sleep. When you think that in the UK, they are putting the central heating on, and it's mid June!). I feel it should be pointed out in the description, as it is very often important for people to have a cool sleeping environment.

The apartment was lovely and in a great location in La Cala. So near to the beach! It was modern and clean with an amazing covered balcony with furniture. What a view! All the furniture, including the beds, was of a good standard and very comfortable. We are on a 6 week motorcycling tour of Europe and were pleased to find this apartment, where we could park our Goldwing at the front of our apartment block. We stayed for 5 nights in La Cala. The apartment was nice and quiet with the shutters down, except when we got the noisy family with kids left on their own, downstairs! Lol, it happens! There is air conditioning in the living room, and a fan is left to use in the bedrooms. Usually, we found that the air con in the living room cooled the rest of the apartment sufficiently if left on all night, but our air con unit broke down after the first few days and it was uncomfortable at night for us Brits - especially as hubby had caught the 'flu and had a fever. The apartment management was very concerned and acted quickly. At my request, they went out on Saturday and bought another fan for us, which was whisper quiet, for use during the night. We had to move on by motorcycle to our next stop over in Vera on Sunday, so it was important to get some good sleep especially for hubby to be able to safely ride the 3.5 hours' ride to Vera.

Beds weren't very stable, sheet on 2nd bed was slightly torn and barely covered the bed.

Not much of a sea view from the second floor. Probably on the top floor there is but that was a little disappointing because the images on booking.com gave a different impression. The terrace is more like a room with a big window. It didnt matter that much because we didn't spend much time in the apartment and it was just a few minutes walk from the beach but still was a little disppointing on arrival.

The apartment is really modern and clean. The TV is great. We had a couple of small issues on arrival but they were dealt with really quickly. It was very easy to contact the management of the property.

The bed was so uncomfortable. Didnt sleep. There was a plastic sheet underneath and it was so hot.

The kitchen needed more utensils i.e. a bread knife and sharp knife. It needs more glasses, cups and plates as well as saucepans and frying pans.

It was not the most comfortable as all the chairs were hard and upright and the settee was a hard, low sofa bed. It was disappointing that there was no outside space and the terrace appeared to be a room with windows. This room only seemed to be good for drying washing, Because the apartment wasn’t completely cut off from our neighbour, we did get a head leaning over our property being quite unpleasant.

No breakfast. The position was excellent as it was very near the town and the sea. As my husband uses a mobility scooter it was perfect what with the lift and plenty of room for parking in the foyer. The shower was also excellent.

Ground floor apartment has no view and very limited outside area.
