The bedroom and bed are located next to the doors and corridor. The sound isolation is poor, so you can hear everything happening near your doors. The walls are thin as well, allowing you to hear your neighbors. I was lucky not to have small kids in the neighboring rooms. I did not see the staff, because there is a self check in which is good! but one day before checkout, a lady knocked on my door asking for 10 EUR for some tax. I remember it was marked on Booking.com as "no additional fees." When I started to read the hotel description, it was written that a 5.50 EUR tourist tax should be paid (I was staying 5 nights). I paid 5.50 EUR, but it was strange that the lady asked for the wrong amount.

The property is just like in the pictures! There was a perfect view from the room. All rooms have a sea view. The beach is amazing and clean. The location is next to the beach, and various restaurants and a supermarket are just around the corner. It’s also easy to get to Barcelona from the train station, which is a 10-minute walk away.

Great apartments that are as close to the beach as you can get. Easy to get on your bathing suit and jump in the sea without having to drag all your stuff. Apartment also close to a supermarket and all the restaurants. We struggled with the air con. Following their directions, it just didn't seem strong enough (that could be due to the fact that we're used to sleeping in freezing cold). We ended up sleeping with balcony doors open and bought a cheap fan. Would 100% stay again.

The location was fabulous. Amazing views over the waterfront with the waves crashing on the beach from your balcony. Perfect to just sit and relax. Apartment is small but beautifully laid out and well appointed, fantastic use of space.

Unfortunately, although the apartments are soundproof they aren't on the ceiling so you can hear people above moving furniture amongst other things.

Nice view from balcony. Very easy access to beach. Washing machine in apartment was helpful to wash sandy clothes from the beach. The beach club in front of apartment rents beach chairs, and it is a nice place to order drinks or have a meal. Also many other restaurants within 1-2 minute walk.

Location was great but super noisy. Very inconsiderate guests partying on balconies until early hours. Supposed to be non smoking but the smell of smoke was always present. The shower tended to flood asked for someone to look but no one ever came. Advertised it had a stove which was actually more of a hot plate. Odd choice for front door locks, system easily lended itself for the potential of leaving the one key provided inside the suite resulting in guest being locked out. Suggest supplying guests with two keys; one for the lock box and one for guest. Upon checkout the guest simply leaves second key in the lock box. Limited choices on the tv.

They charged us 25 euros per day for parking, but on Booking.com it said 20 euros per day! The apartment itself was clean and nicely furnished, and the beachfront location was perfect. However, there were several additional issues. We wanted fresh towels, but they said they would charge 30 euros for new ones. The alternative was to use the washing machine in the apartment, which is fine, but this should have been mentioned upfront. When we asked the cleaning lady for more toilet paper, she gave us half a roll, presumably leftover from another room. We stopped asking for supplies (even though they said on Booking.com that the supplies would be free) and bought our own. Smoking is allowed on the balcony, which was terrible for us. Our neighbors smoked frequently, and the smoke drifted into our apartment. We couldn’t enjoy the balcony with our 5-year-old due to the constant smoke, especially during breakfast and dinner times. Noise was another issue. Our neighbors played loud music and talked loudly on their balcony, forcing us to close our balcony door. We had to ask them to lower the volume and eventually complained to the apartment administrator. The noisy neighbors left, but the experience was stressful. The air conditioning didn't work properly for two nights, and we couldn't sleep well. The room became uncomfortable without the AC, and we couldn't open the balcony door due to our young child. Eventually, the AC was fixed, but it was not a pleasant experience. It's unfortunate to write such a long review given the apartment's nice features and perfect location. However, it's important for other families to know what to expect and for the owners to make improvements.

Our stay in Azul apartments, Castelldefels, was marred by several disappointing experiences with our apartment rental. We had specifically booked an apartment with a terrace but were given one with a balcony instead. When we asked for what we had paid for, the administrator provided various reasons for the mix-up, none of which make sense. The administrator gave conflicting reasons, first stating that the ground-floor apartment could not accommodate three people, and then saying it was unavailable until a later date. The pictures on booking were showing the ground-floor apartment with a sofa, contradicting their first claim. Although they offered to switch us to the correct apartment with terrace for the last two days of our vacation, we declined. We didn't want to waste any time on moving, and on top of that, we were asked to pay an additional 90 euros for cleaning. We don’t understand why they advertise apartments with terraces and apartments with balconies if, in the end, you get whatever is available. They said their balconies are actually terraces. So why the difference in prices and names (terrace/balcony)? When we sought help from Booking.com, we were met with unhelpful responses. We spoke with three different representatives, sent emails, and in the end, received only apologies for the "possible" inconvenience.

As with most similar apartment designs & construction, sound proofing is a minor issue. Generic modern minimalist functional design. Obviously, views from upper floors are better than the ground floor apartment. Images are accurate, but the 1 bedroom ground floor apartment feels a little smaller than the photographs suggest.

Frontline beach location with direct access to restaurants & public transport. Pristine condition. Excellent location if you want to combine the benefits of a beachside location with easy access & regular public transport services. Felt safe & comfortable.
