The street might be a bit noisy at night.

The location is perfect. Very close to Callao metro station and a few other bus lines. Everything was clean and smelled nice. Our host was extremely helpful and friendly.

The location of the apartment couldn't be better. Everything is on walking distance. The building is well maintained and clean. It has two elevators. The apartment is clean, beautiful and cozy. Supermarket is just around the corner. Pascal (the host) is charming and very helpful. He recommended excellent restaurants, rooftop bars and places to visit. He personally came to welcome us and explained a bit surrounding neighborhoods. He also prepared a gift for us and our daughter (sweets, cosmetics and wine). I can fully understand why Pascal is rated as a super host :) One of the best accommodations we had lately.

The apartment's location is fantastic, right in the heart of everything, with pretty much all the major sites (and more importantly all the good restaurants) within walking distance. The apartment itself is really well appointed, clean and comfortable. The owner Pascal is delightful and gave us lots of great tips on places to visit.

fantastic apartment, Pascal is very informative and helpful full of excellent advise and ensured that we have a trouble free stay from start to finish. the apartment is perfectly situated in the thick of it and , and centrally located for exploring Madrid by foot with the exception of the the Bernabeu stadium and the bull ring. it was perfect for our family with two young kids.

It would have been nice to have a clothes dryer available, but we managed by hanging all of our clothes throughout the apartment. Our only real complaint is the host himself. He was very confrontational upon our arrival because we arrived later than expected. Traffic was terrible from the airport because of the Pride festival taking place and road closures. We apologized several times to him while enroute as well as after we arrived and he still insisted on scolding us for wasting his time when we arrived. We did not intend or plan on it taking us 2 hours to get there from the airport and after apologizing profusely you would think he would have been understanding, but he wasn't. I did not appreciate the degrading scolding of us in front of our children. I would have canceled our stay on the spot if there had been a room we could easily find at another location. If he was that angry at us he could have pulled us aside and addressed it with us, but instead insisted on being a jerk in front of our children. He kept insisting he had told us about the traffic because in a message before the stay he had informed us the Pride festival was taking place...telling us a festival is taking place is not the same as telling us that getting there by car would be impossible. I understand him being upset about our lateness, but he took it very personally as if we did it on purpose and there was a better way for him to handle it. I will not be staying here again.

The location was great for visiting the city center. The room was very clean and the host had snacks and drinks available for us when we arrived. The kitchen had a small washing machine for us to use.

The towels smelled really bad. They smelled musty. Once you showered and dried with that towel, you smelled worse then before the shower…
