Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location was good for where we wanted to go, the kitchen was useful and saved us some money as we didn’t have to buy meals out all the time.

Ireland- there is a big problem with water supply, the water is rusty and brown in the whole apt building, this is not the host fault since all apts must be affected, taking to the consideration the fact the common area near the pull has the same issue, there is a drinking water tap in the apt which has clear good water, but for dishes and shower you have to wait a bit until the clear water comes out - the mens toiler at the reception should be locked, taking to the consideration the fact the pee is all over the place, it not only stinks but is not hygenic, the womens toilet next to mens downstairs has 1x toilet ok and 1x same issue. I am not sure why such a big problem exists but definitely got something to do with drainage system in the building and should be looked into. I travel to Tenerife a few times a year and have never seen this issue anywhere else in Las Americas, Los Cristianos or Adeje.

IrelandNot much. The photos in the advertisement don't do the views justice. Big palm in the view from one balcony, but an excellent view around and the view from the other side of the balcony is excellent, not a peek a boo view. Enough seating for 6-8 and a sofa out there too. Brilliant and sun all afternoon.
The location was excellent for walking to the promenade (200 mtr) and walking up to Porto Colon or down through Los Americas all the way down to Los Christianos, a beautiful walk North or South. The bus station is 2 mins away out the back gate of the apartments and you can travel the whole Island with a €10 day trip card. It's nice and quiet at night, but you can walk to the busy part of the strip in 10-15 mins. Best of both worlds 😉

HungaryIt would have been nice if at least basic hygenie equipment (e.g. toilet paper, soap) were at the apartment. Although the flat itself is nice, the whole building is a bit run down.
The apartment had perfect location, looks like the pictures and the kitchen was well equipped. The balcony is huge and has really nice views.

United KingdomThe kitchen was a wreck . The toaster blew up smoke was everywhere not one smoke alarm went off .The sink was coming away it was cracked all the way round . We had to buy new pillows and covers as the ones we got where all stained as where the tea towels . Holes in doors at the bottom that looked like they where kicked in . Its been nine years since we stayed here and we where shocked at the change . Love the location but a lot of money is needed to bring the Apt we stayed in 303 up to date . Which is sad because the people are so lovely Natali met us with keys and was so nice

LatviaTV did not work. There was no one to as for any help in this regard. You cannot choose your neighbors, ours were constantly smoking marijuana, we had to close balcony doors for our kids to remain sober. Our room was smoked in quite heavily, everything smelled of cigarette smoke. As it is noted in other reviews - property is quite run down and in need of renovation. Bed matrasses are dirty and old. All the furniture is quite dated and half broken. Kids pool did not work. Other two pools were operational, be we aware of that if you come with small kids.
Apartment location is very good. Very close to beach, public transport and Siam Park. View from balcony is nice (ocean view). Good free WiFi.
