Some sockets weren’t working and there were exposed wires, as if electrical work was incomplete. The safe in the room wasn’t working.

Location was excellent. Apartment was easy to access, bright, spacious and clean. Staff responded quickly to any email queries.

Deposit (200€) was a bit of a suprise. And it was pretty noisy which we knew to expect but good to take into consideration.

No air conditioning was the only thing we did not like. But we had a fan to compensate for this which did a job.

We thoroughly enjoyed the convenient location of the apartment, which was within walking distance of everything we needed. It was just a short walk to the river and close to all amenities, including a small supermarket down the street and a bakery around the corner. The apartment had a cosy atmosphere, although we found that it lacked air conditioning. The thoughtful gesture of providing us with a welcome Port and biscuits was much appreciated. We also felt secure with the front security door and the lockbox for our keys.

The problem transferring the money for the bond was problematic as my credit card was linked to my phone and I had changed my sim card and number. I had to rely upon my brother in England to pay otherwise I would not have been able to access the apartment and in which case they refused to refund the money.

The apartment only had enough cutlery and plates etc for 2 which was a nuisance, especially as it has a sofa bed and advertises as can take up to 4. It had no teatowels, so we had to buy our own.

The apartment is a good size in a prime location. The apartment building is quiet. Getting in on arrival was so easy with a lock code so no matter when you arrive you can get in quickly. The apartment is clean and modern with high ceilings,which made it airy. It was 2 stand on balconies which were nice to sit beside in the evenings. The bed was comfortable and pillows etc seemed newish. Extra bedding provided and plenty of towels.

All was good but I would say that there should be a bit more kitchen utensils and fabric kitchen towels.

It's of course a bit noisy as located right next to main tourism traffic street, but that's normal. One cannot have only the benefits of a superb location. The inner courtyard was a bit smelly, so we did not use it much. The walls a bit thin, so it's nice if the neighbors are not too loud.

Perfect location in the old center not far from the beach. Very comfortable space. The host was very caring as they were issues upon arrival that were fixed very quickly. There is an extra deposit to leave (which I was not aware when booking), but that was paid back quickly after the trip without any fuss. All the necessary amenities for a short stay are there (but not for a longer stay like ours). The place was very clean. Alicante is charming, busy but not oppressing. Spain is very clean and very safe. We will come back.

There was no toilet paper on arrival which would be expected… also there was only one wine glass and we are big wine drinkers and my husband had to drink out of a tumbler! Over the weekend the property was noisy at night.

We were in Apartment 3. I would recommend the apartment and would return. The internal height of ceiling was a bit lower than what we’re used to, but we got used to it. I would return again.

The apartment is at the best possible location for a visit to Alicante. The Passeig de l’Esplanada (main walking street) is just 2-3 mins away, beach is 5 mins away. We were with 2 kids, they really enjoyed that they also can easily navigate themselves in the neighborhood.

There is no reception or personal meet and great so you are lleft tto sort any issues and alert owner by email. The process for paying the security deposit was frustrating and only resolved when we contacted booking.com. Rental agency kept referring us back to our bank when actual issue appeared to be about which of our cards had been authorised on the Booking.com site.

Wi fi was down for 3days.Also 200 euro deposit cost us over £5 in fees.

Just the shower didnt drain very fast, but the host said this was normal so apart from that no issues.

My experience with this apartment and the host was great. They were in constant contact from the time I booked until after checking out. They were super helpful when i had any questions or concerns, they were quick to respond and even gave us a different (and better) apartment when we had an issue at the original one with a blocked sink once we had arrived there. They were super helpful and kind throughout the whole visit. The apartment was perfectly located in the city centre. Everything from the beach, to the shops, grocery stores, local butchers, restaurants, Santa Barbara castle, the bus stop and tram lines and more was only a short walk away- 5-10 mins for most things. There was noise from outside in the town square from events and music due to the festive time period we went in, but my family and I really enjoyed hearing the hustle and bustle of locals and tourists so we didn’t mind. There was also a clock tower that chimed at every hour. Take ear plugs if you do mind the noise. The apartment building is located next to a confectionery shop so the entrance hallway/lobby always smells like fresh donuts, absolutely loved this. The apartment was stocked up with everything you need- sheets, towels, plates, cutlery, fridge/freezer, washing machine etc. We booked the apartment for 3 people, two of us shared the double bed and one had the sofa bed. The sofa bed was very spacious and comfortable. Much better than expected. Overall we really enjoyed the experience and would definitely choose this apartment and location again.

Not too important: but among the provided accessories a conversion adopter would have been ideally to have there. I had bought one at the shop right in front of the apartment. Aside this, nothing really dislikes

Simply the best.. excellent location, flexible check in and what can I say about the staff.. they remotely accommodated each of my needs.. we encountered some issue in payment extra time at the apartment but we found the right solution for both.. really recommended for a great stay in Alicante
