I read the reviews here before selecting where to stay and all the positive reviews i saw are true and i'm glad i chose this room as Maria is an excellent hostess, willing to assit you for everything you might need (thank you Maria!!!), you will find more equipment than you will need in the room which is very clean, quiet (no road noises) with confort beds and pillows. Located in the in a central place in Madrid (we have visited all sites walking, if you prefer walking) and is very close to metro station and even to train station (we had a day trip to Toledo) and very very close to restaurants, shopping stores etc.

Maria welcomed us in person and gave us lots of great recommendations for restaurants and attractions in Madrid. Not only was this information useful, but it also made us feel very welcomed. We needed to go through three doors (building front door, entry door to the 3 apartments managed by the owner , and the apartment door) to enter the apartment, which made me feel very safe. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained. Although not large, the space was utilized very well, making it very comfortable to stay in. ; and the shower and shower space are great! Everywhere you look, you can see the care and effort the host has put into the place.

The quiet, the cleanliness and all the information provided by the host. Excellent bright bedroom, lovely bathroom with amazing shower. All the utilities /utensils provided in the kitchen and nice touches such as usb charging ports on both sides on the main bed.

The apartment is very comfortable and clean with many thoughtful accommodations like detergent for laundry, soap and a rack for dishes, and even after-shower slippers. The location is amazing; it's very quiet but also very close to metro stations, museums, and restaurants. Maria, the host, is better than any concierge we have ever had anywhere. She let us check in early and met us and explained everything about the city to us, including elements of the history and culture that a non-local would not know. She has the best recommendations if you want to try traditional cuisine or go to see the gorgeous sunsets. We'll always stay here when we visit Madrid.

Nothing, all was as expected and of a good standard.

The location was really good, just off the tourist area. Close to museums. The new lift in the building was very smooth. Nice to have the extra space of an apartment. Location and building quiet. Maria was a fantastic host, gave heaps of info about what to do, and booked the early morning taxi to the airport for us. There are local ethnic shops and restaurants down the hill from Alma suits. We dined there on 2 nights at the Italian restaurant, with bonus live music on Sunday night.

The apartment exceeded all my expectations. It was very clean and very quiet and very well appointed in an excellent location close to all of Madrid's central districts. The host, Maria, was very helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommend this to any solo traveller or couple looking for an exceptional venue from which to experience all that Madrid has to offer.

Our stay at Alma Suites was very pleasant. Located close to the city center, it has everything that you need for short or even longer stays. However, the star of this experience was Maria, our host. She kindly answered all of our questions and gave us some tips and tricks that we couldn't find anywhere else. We recommend this accomodation wholeheartedly.

Everything was perfect. Maria went above and beyond in hosting and was super flexible when I wanted to extend the stay for a few hours. Would definitely recommend this for any travellers to Madrid! Centrally located too!

Everything was perfect. Starting with Alessandro and Maria, who run it. They helped us with everything we needed. In a place where very few people speak english, it's very important. They gave us guidance for places of interest and a city plan. We asked for 2 extra pillows, they gave us 4! They even helped us to get tickets to Toledo. The apartment was like new and very spacious, which is very rare in Madrid. Very clean, with a second bath in the bedroom! Fully equipped kitchen, all appliances were like new, modern and not the usual cheap ones. The location is very convenient, on a few minutes wallking distance from Plaza del Sol and Mayor, La Latina area, 3 Metro station, Prado, El Retiro park. My next time in Madrid, I won't have to search where to stay, I'll book directly to Alma.

Wardrobe light works via a movement sensor and comes on when not wanted at night if you have to visit the bathroom.

Perfect location near Anton Martin and a 10 minute walk to Atocha bus station. Maria was an incredibly attentive and caring host and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped with a very comfortable super king-sized bed.

tiny issues- we could have contacted host but these really didn't deter our stay.... 1/needs some mixing bowls, potholders for cooking and perhaps wrap or storage containers (wish we remembered to pack our own!) 2/only one washing machine soap provided-we are traveling for a month and did a load as soon as we arrived and would have loved to do another before leaving for our next location.. 3/no dishwashing soap- we just hand washed dishes and glasswear.

Fabulous host who took time to go over a map of Madrid for us, Mentioned places to eat and visit and followed up with listing for us. Efficient elevator. Very spacious inside property Well appointed kitchen for cooking. Some items in refrigerator for purchase was appreciated. Clean, safe area. Easy to get to. Fun little "Bar" and Octopus restaurant very near by.

The only drawback to this otherwise excellent apartment was the noise from neighboring units. Unfortunately, the walls seemed a bit thin, so I could occasionally hear voices and sounds from other apartments. While it wasn't a deal-breaker, it did detract slightly from the overall tranquility of the stay.

The apartment had a lot to offer and provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay. First and foremost, the cleanliness and comfort of the apartment were impressive. It was spotlessly clean when I arrived, and the furnishings were cozy, making it feel like a home away from home. One of the standout features of this apartment was the fully equipped kitchen. Whether you're a seasoned chef or just looking to prepare a quick meal, you'll find everything you need here. It made dining in a breeze and saved me money on eating out every night. The owner of the apartment was a truly welcoming and helpful host. He took the time to provide me with an overview of the city's most interesting places to visit and recommended some of the best restaurants in Madrid. His local insights were invaluable and greatly enhanced my stay. Situated in the heart of Madrid, this apartment offers easy access to all the must-visit places, and you can reach them within a leisurely 30-minute walk or less.

It was clean, comfortable and well-maintained. It was also spacious and secure, and has good air-conditioning and a lift. The area is nice, with a lot of restaurants, bars and shops as well as three Metro stations in the vicinity (a little hilly but we’re used to that!) Maria is a friendly and really helpful host, with lots of recommendations, and even gave me a bottle of wine for my birthday!

Maria was at the door to meet us when we arrived. She did a marvelous job of welcoming us, and showing us how things worked. She had a map of the city for us and pointed out many places to visit and how to get around. She even made sure a cab was waiting outside for us the morning when we left for the airport.
