Old decor, breakfast scramble eggs was very cold and hard. Meat and cheese were kept in open plate and flies on it all the time .

The door key cards did not work for four times in 7 days. For the reception desk is at the Hotel 153 (the sister hotel), we had to walk there to reformat the cards. While Hotel 153 is close by, it was a torture after a tiresome day. The furniture is pretty old, and inside of the drawers smelled moldy. The sealings of the shower cabin were leaky. The walls are thin. Thus, you can hear everything from the next room; earplugs might be a good idea.

The location was wonderful. Casteldefells is pretty good connected to Barcelona and airport, and the bus stops are really close to the hotel.The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast at Hotel 153 (sister hotel) was really good. WiFi's performance was fairly good. Balcony with an open space across is a big advantage.

No reception in the hotel, it's two streets down. The room is the smallest hotel room I have ever had.

The hotel is in close proximity to the beach and buss stop to airport and Barcelona. We also had the opportunity to do a late check in.

You need to check-in in a another hotel and then walk with your luggage about 3 blocks away. Beds and mattresses were really bad. Bathroom tiles were falling apart. I get the concept so they can do a low cost stay but some TLC will make this a lot better.

Room was on small side, but this was not a problem as we were just staying for one night. There is a slight issue getting access. You have to pick up key from Hotel 135 about 150m down road. Although we were OK and had been well informed about this, we had to explain it to two other clients that were trying to gain access to the hotel.

Close access to Barcelona airport for early flights (9 minute drive). Many restaurants nearby in walking distance. Car parking no problem.

Very nice breakfast with some vegan options and a wide variety of food. Excelent Staff, super nice people and always ready to help + they can give good restaurant recomendations. You can order food to your room. It has a luggage room where you can keep your bag after checkout.

No staff on site. Half the electric in the communal areas was off at the mains. Room was okay but our "camp bed" tipped when you sat on the end. Not fond of military blankets, a duvet would have been nicer. Having to go to hotel 153 for every query, its 4mins away... the bar/restaurant was shut. Its not a 1* hotel its a 1* hostel. Covers basic needs.

It's a nice "hotel" but as there were no staff on the premises at all and the bar/restaurant was closed it was more like a hostel. It still had a nice communal sofa area, eating area. Rooms were okay. Good hot shower. Good location for beach, prom and shops, loads of restaurants nearby. Just make it a hostel, then great 👍

- the room we dusty - mold in the bathroom - no toilet brush provided - view to the stairs at parking lot - no kettle in the room - no free parking It was so cheap and basic that the only reason to stay there is to avoid rain and be few minutes walk from the beach.

- 5 minutes walk to the beach - A/C in the room - quite street - free WiFi - 24 hours reception

We were a bit disappointed with our stay, specially due to the check-in and breakfast experience, because we had to go to their other hotel (153, which is about 3 min walk) with luggage and everything. The Hotel 139 was very empty and no one at reception at any time, no employees around. Though they were available and friendly in Hotel 153, this meant that if needed anything, we'd have to either go or call the other place. Another issue were the bedroom doors, you had to slam them in order to close and it would cause a lot of noise.

The blinds in the room were black out type, so it was great to have a good night sleep even in summer times. Even though the breakfast was held in the other hotel (153), the food and service themselves were great. They have a locker room so you can leave the luggage after check out, if needed.

A bit obsolete (not perfectly operating) equipment, like the window-blind. The bed was too soft (sb. can have a different feeling). The room was very small. I used the "solarium" facility for better comfort.

Friendly and helpful staff. Everybody speaks English. "Solarium" terrace was very useful for having relax in the shade. Perfectly clean everything. Bus stop just in front of the hotel!!! Plenty of restaurants nearby.
