Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SpainOutside and pool area very tired and scruffy . Could do with some updates, tidying, or fixing. Ie deck by the pool had wood splinters sticking up that you could step on. Also note : at least 30 mins by car to anywhere! Don’t forget anything.
Check in easy . Inside , clean and well equipped. WiFi good. Quiet and no light pollution for star gazing

ItalyAlthough the place has a lot of potential, it falls short of expectations due to a general lack of care. Common areas look a bit run down and abandoned, and most of the wooden bungalows have an unexciting view of the car park. Two of the beds in our bungalows hadn't been made when we arrived. Although the bungalow was mostly clean, one of the night tables had a slight stench of animal urine that, although tolerable, would wake us up at times. While the staff was cleaning other bungalows, they would often leave a plastic sack with the dirty linen on our porch. However, all these little hiccups pale in front of the utter unprofessionalism the management displayed towards us as clients. After booking the accommodation, management contacted me and told me the payment hadn't gone through because of a general system failure of the payment systems in Spain that day. Although my credit card statement clearly showed that the money had exited my account, I kept a cooperative attitude, communicating with management over the course of weeks and providing them with my credit card statements and the contact details of my bank manager to help them locate the missing money. One month after my stay had ended, without any notification, the management simply decided to charge my credit card again to make up for the amount they couldn't locate. Although they tried to give their version of the story the best possible spin, stating that it was my bank's responsibility to locate the missing money, the reality is that they simply decided to turn their problem into my problem. I was able to retrieve the additional amount I was irregularly charged with only thanks to the help and professionalism of Booking.com customer service after weeks of waiting and hassles. In years of travelling, I have never experienced such an arrogant and careless attitude anywhere else. Overall a very unpleasant experience.
The establishment is located near a village in the countryside, far from the hustle and bustle. It is an ideal place if you want to enjoy the silence and the beautiful starry sky. Bungalows have all the necessary amenities, and the Wi-Fi works well.
