The price considering we don't even get bedsheets. But it's still the cheapest one in zaragoza I could find so I'm fine by that.

The rooms are quite quiet and dark and I slept well. There is some help center on the first floor so there was always something happening which I found quite interesting.

The washroom was in terrible shape. In the shower stall a large chunk of wallboard was pulled out by a chair that was improperly installed. And there was a lot of mold. It wasn't a pleasant experience to shower there.

    The staff were friendly.-

The shower/toilet lock by the room didn't work and this was the first basic hostel (I've stayed in hundreds before) where you have to pay more to get basic bed sheets upon arrival. Of course me and many others didn't pay it as it's really cheeky of them, it should be included in the price!

Other travellers in the room were respectful and the room I stayed in was away from the other rooms and in a separate area close to the ground floor courtyard.

As soon as I walked in I felt straight away bad feeling about this place. Feels like more of a halfway house than a hostel tbh. Not very many tourists compared to (semi?) permanent residents. Whilst the location was good in terms of proximity to the old town, I wouldn't recommend staying out past 21.30 if you're solo. Beds felt comfy kinda, but I was on the top bunk and there was kind of a sudden drop in the middle so one side was lower than the other and was not comfortable sleeping in the middle of the bed - I woke up 4-5 times each night.

Location was very close to the old town. Staff were nice. Good that there was a keycard to open the front door, room door and my own locker.

we arrive zaragoza very early in the morning, the hostel should have people to admit us (maybe not to check in, since there is a standard check in time) but at least to leave our luggage. we ended up standing at the street under the cold and drizzle.

It is quite tricky to reach the place if you are totally foreign to Zaragoza and have to rely on a bus from the central station. Enquiries from the staff was met with the answer "bus 34", and if you do not know where to get off (and you don't speak Spanish) that is not very helpful.

It is a backpackers very close to the historic city centre and a block away from the river. It is well run by friendly staff, and to all appearances it is a relaxed and efficient institution, especially if you are on a tight budget. Got my very clean sheets and a towel for free.

Answer about transport from station to hostel was met by a mere "bus 34". For foreigners like me, whose knowledge of Spanish is very limited, it is important to also know where to get off this particular bus.

Excellent location, friendly and efficient staff and very good value for money if you are traveling on a low budget. Amenities very basic, but it is a hostel after all.

A lot of families with very small kids and a lot of hassle and people idling around the reception and common areas, many of them didn't seem like travelers so the atmosphere was a bit weird. Kitchen seemed a bit small. Aircon in the room didn't work.

Location was nice in the center and room was spacious. The bar downstairs was also really great and staff super friendly! Didn't use the kitchen, but the space to eat was big enough.

Beds were less than average. Some of the plugs were not working, and the air conditioning had to be adjusted and operated by the staff to change the temperature. Also, the balcony door in our room was broken.

Location is very near the old town, the basilica, and other touristic areas. Also near a relatively big supermarket. Around 20 mins walk to places where you can go to party. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Someone took my bed so I picked another, and someone else woke the whole room up at 8:30 am when it turns out I took theirs.

Kitchen was amazing as were bathrooms and shower. Owner gave me tons of tips for the Camino.

The place needs some work to be more like a backpackers hostel and it's not the cleanest, but I've stayed before and I'd stay again, it's ok

Acceptable place to stay for a short stop, cheap hostel/albergue, free laundry also, and an underground jazz bar.
