Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FranceOur very clean room needs refreshing (the bath tub is rusted) and a few minor repairs but I expect this will be done soon as the front desk took our concerns seriously.
Ideal location in Alp with a good restaurant where we dined both nights (excellent hotel menu changed every day) and within a short walk into the town centre. They offered to organise breakfast for us at 6am to give us time to get out to the airport in time for our hot air balloon flight. Very appreciated.

United KingdomThe floorboards in my room creaked so loudly, I can only imagine what it sounded like in the room below me.
I had a meal in the restaurant on the evening I arrived. It was simple, traditional Catalan fare, but absolutely delicious. It was a short stay, so I didn't have much time to explore the area, but it was a very pleasant stay.

United KingdomThe room had no fans or air conditioning; so it was somewhat warm.
The hotel is located in a quiet area of Alp with roadside parking outside. It is a homely hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of food and drink. The crowning glory of this hotel is the restaurant; it has a choice of eating areas; indoors, outside under a marquee or in the garden. The chef was extremely helpful and the food was superb. I don’t recall when I last tasted food so good!

United Kingdomas a lovely old building, it didnt have aircon, and in normal times it would be fine, i just happened to stay during a heatwave with temperatures approaching 40C, since i am usually in this area in spring that wont be a problem, and i plan to return!

SpainI probably managed to sleep one hour all together. extremely hot room, too hot. They told us in the evening the heating was centralized , but then the morning after they said you could have switched it off. Too bad. I really did not sleep. Awful experience when you have to go and ski the day after.
I liked the village although it was deserted as it was bank holidays. The hotel has got a nice garden but nobody used it as temperature were very cold they have a nice restaurant and breakfast area.

SpainShower doesn't work ! We've been more than one time in different rooms and they have a problem with the hot water. After all day skiing you get to the hotel and you cannot have a shower because there is no hot water. After talking to the staff they always tell you the same story, they say that this is because of the water pressure in the village, but other hotels in the same village doesn't have the same problem. Facilities in general need a refurbishment, they look so old.
Location is so good, staff is charming and the quadruple room where we stayed is big enough for a 2 kids family. The restaurant is so good as well.
