“Good value for a clean large room in a separate building to the house on road. Had a small kitchen and outside a washing line to dry hiking clothes. 15 km from Gijon, good mid point break on an otherwise 30 km stage of the Camino del Norte. Two bars nearby at a similar 5 minute distance to eat, the easterly option has a menu of the day served from 8pm, whilst the other only has evening sandwiches but the westerly option opens from 5 am for breakfast.”
“Close to the Camino del Norte. Friendly people, good communication, good facilities, excellent food. Casa Selmo provided a pleasant stopping place and respite from walking the Camino. It would be a tremendous place to stop for a few days and rest weary legs.”
“A lovely tranquil place run by lovely friendly people. Susana was a brilliant host, who made me feel very welcome and cooked me an excellent evening meal.”
“It was a super cosy house, quiet with a wonderful garden with tables to spend the evening dinner or have some relaxing hours. The rooms were super clean and we were able to use the kitchen and all the stuff around.
Susana was a super nice host. We loved to stay in her house and we surly come back.”
