“Great hotel, just off the main area and beaches. Lots of restaurants, bars, cafes & shops - good buzz to the area. The food at the hotel was tasty & varied, great value for money. Staff are lovely and very hard working in keeping the hotel clean and well stocked. Would definately return again ❤️”
“This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is in a great location, close enough to the centre with the bars and restaurants but far enough away that it is quiet. We were given one of the beach view rooms and my goodness the view was spectacular! The beds were very comfortable. There was a good selection of food for breakfast and for dinner. The pool, although small was nice to have on site for a quick refreshing dip after a long walk. I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing beach weekend away!”
“Having stayed at 3 different hotels previously in Calella, I thought I'd give the Garbi a go as they were offering a good deal which included both breakfast and dinner with a sea view. Any concerns I might have had from reading some other reviews here were quickly dispelled with a friendly welcome, a decent sized room and a great view, good lighting and a large comfy bed.
The buffet dinner was far better than anything I was expecting, with lots of choice (the meatballs were excellent) and hot which is not always the case with hotel buffets, and a great range of desserts. Breakfast also had a great choice, though the hot food wasn't quite up to dinner standard, the pastries were tasty and fresh and good coffee.
If or when I return to Calella, if there's a similar deal I would definitely choose to stay here again.”
