There is maintenance to be done The old furniture. Yet, live with it. It is a good stay for the money.

It is well situated. I appreciate the little balcony. We could have a glimpse of the sea. I enjoyed watching the commotion in the street

Rooms not 'serviced' over long periods or thoroughly cleaned under beds and tables at all; shared bathrooms need cleaning more than once a day; no wi-fi in rooms.

Exceptionally welcoming and accommodating staff; many large and well-appointed rooms some with partial sea-view; great central location.

Basically there is No wifi. It says there is wifi around reception, but 90% of the time there is Not. Every time the hotel received a call, the wifi stops. I have my own Sim with an Egypt card, but that did not work in the room either. The hotel is on the 5h floor ( each floor has minimum 25 stairs) and 2 out of 5 days the lift did not work. Also the lift does not work every single day between 5 and 7 pm. The Hotel itself is very clean, but outside the hotel and all surrounding areas are a pure nightmare.

It was extremely clean, much cleaner than the 5 star resort i stayed in Port Said. Great ambience and antique furniture. Female staff extremely helpful, friendly and nice. Good TV with great English options. Good pressure in shower and hot water 24/7.

I think that Deluxe room could be better equiped for the price. It cannot be locked from inside, there is hole in the blanket, there was not bed linen for it. I would recommend to improve the mattress and the pillows.. its not very comfortable. We had much better experience in Cairo.

Perfect central location for observing the centre of Alexandria. The reception is open 24/7 and there is nice lobby. The communication with hotel before arrival was good. The atmosphere of the place is nice and calm.

Elevator wasn't working and is a long stairs ride !

It is definitely not the Buckingham Palace but I did not have any inconveniences or whatsoever which is more important. Check in and check out were easy and smooth. Staff was friendly and the place fulfilled the needs.

The bed wasn't the greatest. The rest rooms are large but not ideal.

Friendly, funny staff. Common TV room. Great breakfast value across the street, at "Old School." There are two CARITAS offices in the building on lower floors, in case you feel like donating a small sum. The building gets lots of sun, lots of rooms with balconies.

Sheets had hairs on them. I had to put some clothes I brang with me and slept on them. Also window did not fully close so I had to sleep under the blanket whole night. Pillow was too harsh.

Location was great. We had a beautiful view from the balcony. I loved how old and historical the building was, especially the elevator!! Such an experience it felt like a movie set! Also thanks to the staff they were lovely and helpful.

A pit pricey for a hotel that's a little tired and doesn't include breakfast.

Good location near the cornice. Very interesting to stay in an old belle epoch building. All marble, polished wood and wrought iron work.

The bed blankets were really dirty, the towels were stained and felt unclean and the bathroom floor wasn’t clean. Shower needs a curtain to stop water going everywhere.
