Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PolandBreakfast a complete disaster, but there is a very nice pastry/coffee shop just opposite street so you can eat there. No invoice provided. Entrance through the staircase common for the whole building, the elevators cuts when the electric is cut and it happened few times out of scheduled hours

United KingdomI should have had a kettle or access to one. However, the staff were very good about getting me hot water when I wanted it. I also expected the hotel to able to arrange a taxi to the airport.
I liked being on the 10th floor of a period building in an excellent location. I especially liked being served breakfast on the balcony which overlooked the Mediterranean and the city. I liked my room but it would have been a lot more comfortable if it had heat. It had air conditioning only.

United KingdomTv didn’t work towels had stains staff didn’t speak English nor too bothered about helping they failed to tell me I had breakfast in with my room and kept knocking on my door constantly for any silly questions plus the elevator only the middle one works it’s a bit sketchy and the power for whole building goes out for hours I was trying to charge my phone no power or elevators so expect to haul your luggage up ten flights of stairs

AustriaI got a room without balcony, on the 2nd day I could change the room, it had balcony but was very dirty. I asked for cleaning, but they didn’t. Also no room service during the stay. Breakfast was just tea, 2 sandwiches, cheese and Joghurt, every day the same. As my bus was leaving at midnight I booked an additional night at the property. No card payment. I had not enough EGP, so I paid a part in EUR, they charged me wrong with the EUR and they were discussing about 1 EUR in the end…
