Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

EgyptThe garage is quite a challenge: There are so many turns and it is very narrow - The receptionist asked if we wanted a high floor for a better view, then gave us a room on the first floor directly above the swimming pool (?!) - We ordered lunch at the main restaurant (B2 level) after scanning the menu, but, when we asked for the desert (on the menu) they said we had to go to the cafeteria in the lobby (?!). Breakfast was quite good with a lot of choices.

Abkhazia, GeorgiaRoom not clean, cigarette stub in the balcony knowing that I have ordered a non-smoking room, this is really bad, bad smell in the bathroom, towels smell terribly bad, not sure if it is repeated for most guests, if so everyone should bring towels and sheets with them, luckily we stayed for one night only so we have decided to not extend our stay, a 5 star hotel should prioritize cleaning and prevent repeated behavior regarding cleaning
Staff, services and mealplans are exceptional, We enjoyed our stay , the room is exactly what I booked, it exceeded my expectations.

Nice hotel . Not many hotels in Alex with pools overlooking the beach. Nice pool bar. The room was fine with amazing small terrace overlooking the beach.

The property was very clean and was as I expected. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We were upgraded from a King Deluxe Room to a Suite. The suite was lovely, we were given a Sea view room. We were very pleased with the service received from Reception, Security, Housekeeping and all the staff.

United KingdomNeeded to pay 180 Egyptian pounds a day for basement parking. The rooms are pretty small, and the water pressure in the shower was weak - not sure if this was just in our room. There is no private beach as online photos may suggest. The beach is across the road and was seriously crowded.

The woman who cleans the rooms was very good. Her name is Jihan. The one who works in the cafeteria in the lobby is named Mustafa. He always had a smile. He left a wonderful impression.
