If you are coming with your own private car, the hotel doesn’t have parking, but you can manage at the public parking just opposite the hotel.

Very rare things in life maintain their quality. We often hear this: it was very good but unfortunately that was in the past. Cecil Hotel is stunningly maintaining and even improving the quality and luxury of service offered by a historical and classic hotel in the heart of Alexandria. My mother stayed here 70 years ago and she said that it was the best hotel in Alexandria back in 1954. Today, I confirm with full confidence that it is still one of the best hotels in Alexandria. The location, the friendly staff going extra miles to please the guests, the breakfast buffet where you can easily spend 2 hours 🤭, the house keeping, the bell captain.. every single person is doing his best to please and serve the guest. This attitude is definitely cascaded from the top management to the last junior staff at the hotel. Thank you for a very pleasant stay at Cecil Hotel Steigenberger.

Although swimming wasn’t the purpose of the trip but not having a pool wasn’t ideal.

The vicinity is clean and comfortable. The location is great! The food at breakfast was perfect and fresh! The staff were so helpful. I would like specifically to thank Nagham at guest relations, she assisted us to highest level of detail and gave us all the recommendations we needed! Very trusted and made our stay easier!

I liked everything.

I first stayed here in 2011 and like it even better now. Staff are amazing, giving some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. The hotel building is one of the reasons I stay as I love the classic design. A recent refurbishment has made it even better. Breakfast has everything you could want. The hot location is excellent too and within walking distance of the nicest part of the Corniche.

Everything. It is a splendid, classic grand old hotel, beautifully maintained and ideally located. But the staff were also the kindest, most thoughtful and helpful I have ever encountered in decades of travelling. It was this that made my stay so special and exceptional.

The only "bad" thing I could talk about is that the Air-conditioner is too noisy

Location is great, near by the sea and with several good restaurants nearby. Just in front there is a public park and you can live the car during day / night

Sorry to mention that cos I loved the hotel but it needs paying attention to is the smell of drainage in shower and in the first room on fifth flour ac had a smell too from leaking on carpet and it was hitting on the bed but when we moved to fourth floor it was very good so we extended a day ..

Good variety in breakfast , great service, lovely view , proper , on the whole I enjoyed it a lot.

The place is Cosy and authentic with freindly vibes. The team is so Professional and helpful. They make you feel at home. The receptionists are very welcoming (Amr and Jermaine) and the restaurant team are superb. Thank you very much for the wonderful stay.. Looking forward for another visit soon.. Air conditioner is to noisy to sleep with it on. I had to switch it off in order to be able to sleep. Apart from that, nothing to comment about the hotel

The location is really OK, because there are several restaurants near by and esplanades also. Being near by the see it is really an PLUS because the wind can cool you down in the summer
