EgyptExtremely dirty and smelly toilet. Its a cheap motel, I wasn’t expecting much, but I expected the minimum. The toilet smelled so bad that the smell leaked to the room and I couldn’t sleep. The staff is extremely unfriendly and rude. Especially a woman on the reception called FATIMA. Super rude on the phone and live. Again, i wasn’t expecting much, as it is a motel, but I’d rather pee on the bed and sleep in my own urine than to use the bathroom or speak to Fatima.

EgyptThe accommodation is in the 4th floor. I got a room with no balcony, the room had two single beds, who smelled bad to that nobody cleaned the bed sheets nor the pillows or anything in the room. The beds had a lack of slatted frames, so I had to put from both beds together to sleep in one. There were lipsticks lines over the wall and the door. The bathroom wasn't clean, the water were leaking. There was a bad smell coming from the pipe. A two star accommodation means less standard not a lack of hygiene.
The location is perfect, it is the street behind the Steigenberger Cecile Hotel, which is a direct side street to the main street to the corniche. Around 20 min walking by the sea on the cornice to the bibliotheca or other way to the citadel. Taxi, Tram, Uber are a minute away from the accommodation. Restaurant, Cafe's and a drink shop are all around the corner. The staff is very friendly. And there is an elevator to reach to the 4th floor.

EgyptThe view and location, this is the only thing you pay for here, rooms are below average equipped, many rooms has very bad smell (sewage from bad poorly built bathroom inside the room). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Air conditioning was working very good. It is very noisy as a public micro bus station is directly beside the building. At the end if you want a nice view and a place near the main sites with good transportation, this is a good fit. If you are looking for more, then it is not recommended.
