Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomA wonderful, cosy well equipped apartment conveniently situated in the quieter part of the old town. The hosts have thought of everything and provided even toiletries and new toothbrushes which was a very welcomed gesture especially after our luggage got delayed for 2 days... The apartment was clean throughout, bedding comfortable and there were plenty of towels. It was heartwarming to discover homegrown vegetables and fruit left by the host for our use. Communication with the host was easy and quick throughout our stay. Would definitely stay there again!

NetherlandsThe only improvements would be a shower box instead of just a bathtub and a better mattress (it’s way too soft, pretty bad if you have back pain). It’s also a bit dark since it’s at street level, and if you open the windows everyone can peek inside.
Amazing location, super helpful host, and there’s everything you might need in the house, including toiletries, cooking supplies, etc. a lot more than in your average airbnb! Very clean, spacious, and comfortable.

Location was spot on 300m to old town so it was easy to go everywhere. Cleaniness, easy to get keys, comfort bed, home vibe so i would reccomend it to anyone who think is it worth to stay there or no. :)

PolandWe loved everything about this apartment, but experience with the host was one of its kind. Although we never met her in person, she was very responsive, trying to help with advise and suggestions on things to do or places to go to etc. We were heading to a wedding party in the Estonian country side that weekend and when she heard that we were planning to sleep in the tents she insisted that we take the blankets from her apartment and return afterwards - we were extremely grateful for this as it was really freezing to glamp :) The apartment had everything we needed for the short stay, including a box with some basic medicine, like painkillers etc. complementary coffee was very much appreciated. The apartment is very central, yet it's very quiet in the immediate vicinity. Thank you very much for hosing us and many thanks for all your help!

FinlandThe noices from the street were occasionally a little loud.. But after all, considering the location, it was normal and Ok.
We were very satisfied with everything! Kertu had thought of everything. Little things, like toothbrushes and other bathroom accessories, but is was the little things that made us happy 😍 The bed was also super comfortable. Communication with Kertu was easy and I absolutely reccomend her and her apartment for anyone who wants to stay close to the city and the old town, the location was perfect, close to everything. Thank you again 😊
