Great location, quiet, very romantic

The property was a "shared apartment", with shared bathroom and kitchen, and the sound proofing was a the slimmer side. This made it prone to sound disturbances from others renting in the same house.

The location of the property was good, only a short walk from city center. The house was roomy, clean and had the needy equipment, including a very well equipped kitchen. There was no noise from the exterior of the house, and it was possible to park motorcycles on the property, behind a fence.

In the bathroom, I would like a shelf at the sink, there was not enough space to put my toothbrush and make-up.

Great location - room with garden and sea view. Very close to everything - the old town centre, the beach. Thanks for the host's suggestion to have breakfast at the nearby hotel Hestia, it was great!

It would have been nice with mosquito nets to be able too cool down the room without getting mosquitoes into the room. You hear the other neighbours well, although ours were very quiet and considerate; the host had kindly asked us ahead of time to keep the noise level down.

The view and location was amazing for the price, as were the bathroom and kitchen amenities.

Common kitchen area might have some more utensils. And showers could have some shelfs where put shampoo etc while showering. Otherwise- everything was quite good.

Perfect location - everything is in short walking distance. Rooms are small, but super clean, light and cosy, comfy beds. And we especially enjoyed our balcony with table, chairs and great view!

We didn't understand how to get to the backyard.

The location is great, on a quiet street next to a lake and very close to the centre. The accommodation itself was better than we expected. Very clean, pretty rooms, very good and spacy kitchen. The bathroom was the best on our trip - very clean, spacy and even had good soap and hair dryer available. It was easy to get the key when we arrived.

By far the most comfortable guesthouse I've ever cast the anchor in. Bed sheets are soft. If you open the window you'll always hear the trees foliage rattling and it's really close to the town center. The lake is just literally two meters from the house. You don't see any personnel there but if you will happen to, it's nothing you are probably used to if you travelled in the US or the Netherlands. Estonians ain't exceptionally friendly, but mostly taciturn and composed. It's just another culture. For the rest the staff do their job pretty well. Dream of coming here again.

WiFi signal was extremely weak and basically not usable. The kitchens could be much better equipped and at least one TV would have been nice.

Great location, garden, interior design. Host was pro-actively helpful and rebooked our rooms so we would have the whole half of the guest house. Soap and toiletries were included.

The WiFi was very weak and the kitchen wasn't as fully equipped as it should be much. Somehow I was also missing a TV but that is minor.

Host contacted us that she suggest to upgrade one of the rooms so our group could have one whole half of the guest house. Fantastic service! Location at the seaside was amazing. Rooms were comfy and nicely furnished. The garden was nice to hang out, nice garden furniture and BBQ.

The guesthouse is situated right in front of the sea so you can enjoy a sunset view in the garden :) you also have a kitchen, a bbq so you’re very free ! And it’s 10 minute-trip walking to the castle. The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well !

No extra plugs in the bathroom (I had my hair straghtener with me and the only mirror was in the bathroom, the nearest plug was next to the bed). The walls were very thin and you could hear into all the other rooms and common areas very clearly. The host was very nice, but it took a bit of work to understand where we were supposed to get the keys from.

The house was located in a very beautiful area, the view of the sea from the garden was amazing and the garden was very cute with the little tables and hanging areas. The room was cute.

Very little I didn't like. The use of a washing machine would have been nice. Also a toaster in the shared kitchen.

Rooms should have proper cleaning - dust around the beds, dead flies, spidera and insects around all windows, bathroom floor did not seem to be washed properly, one of the beds seemed not to be changed after the last person, dirty windows and outdoor furniture... If cleaned thoroughly, the place would be more than perfect!

Cute house in a an exceptional location, everything can be reached by foot, restaurants near by. Beautiful exterior and very cozy back yard for relaxing in the evening. Silent surroundings, probably also because some of the rooms were vacant.

The bathroom was shared with people from another room. The room was small and there was no table to put things on nor much space for clothes. The two beds were put together for a double bed but not fixed below nor with a wide mattress.

Location, style of the house and room were very good. The terrace and ghe view to the bay were lovely. The well equipped kitchen was a great extra facility.

mattress was really uncomfortable and we had a hard nights sleep. electricity was down for the entirety of our trip and the only solution was that we should use an extension card, as “some of the plugs in our apartment could still work”. none of the outlets worked however. full understanding that things like a failure in the electric system can happen. however leaving it to us without any further help was a pity. also we were not able to use the kitchen, as electricity was needed for this. would have expected to get offered some kind of compensation as the time of the failure exceeded 20 hours by the time we left.

There was no ventilation at all! Only way to get fresh air into the room under the hot roof was through the door, but then you get attacked by mosquitos.

The shower room suffers a bit from the regular issue of no shelves to put your things on, and all the knives in the kitchen could use a good deal of sharpening, which is again a regular issue in guesthouses, so no surprises really. But these are minuscule things.

The location is utterly stunning: I live in a seaside-city, too, but I've never lived so close to the waterfront, anywhere: the Little Viik is just behind the house's picket fence in the garden, with a nice quiet walkway on the shore. The rooms are clean and have a fresh feeling, with comfortable beds, nice linen and helpful fans (it was +30C outside when we were visiting, but in addition to fans, we had the garden to cool down in, which was plenty). Rooms are spacious and have a bit of a old-fashioned romantic feel to them (in the nicest way possible). The staff we talked to over the phone was helpful and very polite, and we'd love to go back if we happened to be in the area again. Have stayed in 4-5 spots in Haapsalu, hotels as well as guesthouses, and this is my personal favourite now, for sure.
