Needs to be renewed since the deteriorating situation of the doors (specifically the ocean view rooms) is causing the doors to not close properly which results in a lot of noise during the night because of the wind blowing in to the room.

Nice spacious pools. Facility buildings are spacious as well.

The gym wasn’t up to standards .. area wasn’t clean .. no lights.. it was dark & the weights hasn’t been used in ages .. the excursions was great but it told to me I was getting food to eat which wasn’t provided.. such a let down

The mosquito's are terrible! lol The toilets sometimes was an issue to flush. Tap Water didn't have the best taste or smell (would recommend using the bottled water for washing your face and brushing your teeth) Entertainment could be a bit better. I was kinda bored during the days (no entertainment during the day) They have a little nightly entertainment going on. The resort is really quiet lol if your looking for just a relaxed getaway with just peace and quiet this is a good hotel for you. The beggers were too much on the beach to the point of them following us. I don't agree to have them have access to an all-inclusive resort. When I was just laying down on the beach relaxing/sleeping I got interrupted/woken up every few minutes and i didn't like that.

I had a good time at the Vik hotel. You deff get what you paid for. It's affordable and and relaxing. Loved the small games they had around the theatre (ex. pole table, ping pong table etc..) for people to play and interact. Absolutely loved the beach and pool! The staff were great especially from the kitchen and front desk. it was my husbands birthday and they arranged a cake and sang happy birthday to him. I had room decor arranged for my room to be made up for my husbands birthday and the front desk staff helped me arrange it as a surprise for my husband. The hotel does not decor rooms for birthdays so i had someone off the resort drop off some balloons (I searched them up on tiktok) and housekeeping put it in the room while doing their daily clean and they did there own little thing with the towels. Food was good.

Some of the bartenders seemed a little upset or not very smiling when ordering at the bar. The animation was pretty average throughout the entire week, not much to do in the evening after dinner.

The beach location, superb. The general structure of the facility was great.

The room but I really didn't spend time just to sleep a couple of hours and shower ...so technically NOT A BAD THING CAUSE I WAS HAVING FUN!!!!!!

The staff,,,high-end the experience..I observed everything!!! This place can really have great potential...I can forsee and recommend many events or groups to utilize this business,,,you really can plan a week trip with excursions right from VIK and the staff omg let me just show you the pics

There was poor wifi throughout the resort, only had great connection in or near to the lobby. The room was clean but the curtains were stained.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at La Trattoria was excellent. The breakfast at El Mirador was great.

I think they need to invest more in their night time entertainment and a better audio system near the beach and pool. Need to upgrade beach towels and wash clothes.

I absolutely loved it here. You get more than what you pay for! The service is phenomenal and the resort is kept up to par and is beautiful. They are slowly doing upgrades so I can’t wait to see what it looks like in a year or so.

Unfortunately This resort does not have handicap spaces, they do not have adapted bath toilets with grabs rails. HOWEVER, They made all their efforts to adapt a bath useful for my condition. I appreciate all support that they gave me there. Thank you Paulina for everything.

The food was good, the location is perfect, the staff is exceptional, they are very friendly, kind and the most time they try to solve any problem. Paulina is the best of the best. She made the reservation for good transportation from airport to the resort and to everywhere and they were always on time. She also made a reservation for our religious ceremony in beautiful church close to the Resort, (My parents' Golden wedding) . My family really enjoyed this time there. The activities at night were good and everything was perfect for family vacation.

I would have given a complete 10 except for cigars!😞 we came for fresh air n sunshine. When one lights up a cigar, it lasts all day and permeates the entire area forcing carcinogenic (cancer causing) 2nd hand smoke to non-smokers. Cigars literally make me sick to my stomach. I noticed others pick up and leave the area too. To top it off, cigars venders come constantly encouraging ones to buy and light up. We thought to make this a vacation every 6 months until we were forced away from our relaxed section by cigar smokers. So Now, we are seeking alternatives. One other suggestion would be for the kitchen buffet scramble area to label casseroles, sauces, soups, etc as vegetarian if made without meat and/or meat stock/oils. There are More and more vegetarians in this world. We avoided many foods because we weren’t sure if it had meat and we are lifetime vegetarians

Loved the room 5013! Super view!! Loved the variety of fruits, veggies, pasta, breads, dining room staff and cleanliness! Flowers were beautiful around the walkways on the property. Room service was super! Neat and clean property! Activity staff were GREAT! Loved the open, airy lobby!

Food and drinks were generally bland, half the pool was closed during my stay due to construction (no prior notice), gym has no AC so the equipment is rusty (but usable), Wifi is terrible except in the lobby and gym, entertainment was pretty basic

Beach was beautiful (albeit a bit narrow), nice pool, walkable sized resort, landscaping and buildings were pretty, wide variety of food and drinks, good AC in rooms, great price compared to competitors

The rooms were in great need of modernisation bathroom fittings old, furnature in rooms old.Had to pay for a lock for safe (this was an all inclusive holiday) this was 2 different ground floor rooms where you could not lock the sliding balcony doors.Also one of the pools was being rebuilt.

All food was very good drinks of all kind were good.
