Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyHonestly nothing. We were so happy there. It was beyond our expectations
The services were wonderful. Five salt water pools that poured out into the Caribbean. Half of the pools are exclusive for hotel guests so you sometimes get lucky and have it just for yourself. The restaurant was also delicious with a big variety of foods and drinks. They had everything from pizza to tomahawk steak. And on the Saturday there was live music. It was really fun! The nature was also a great highlight. There were lots of crabs and fish. Some of the best snorkelling we had was at the hotel (and we were in Las Terrenas and Punta Cana)

United StatesI would have liked a gelato or Dominican ice cream stand. I feel like that was the only thing missing especially for my kids.
Breakfast was delicious. It had a variety of foods.

Very friendly staff, beautiful pools and many stair access to sea. Beautiful gardens and lighting during dark. Nice athmosphere and very quiet and peaceful during nights.

FranceThe staff (except the lady from reception) weren't kind. We felt ourselves not welcomed. No smile, no "good morning" or "good afternoon", no "thank you for your stay." No English speaking 99%. Limited breakfast selection makes this hotel definitely not a 5-star.
Amazing location, beautiful nature. Hotel by itself is very stylish . Food was just superb, delicious. Our villa was spotless, clean, and very spacious.

United StatesI always like beach access, so I was a bit disappointed that we did not have that. But the pools and the setting made up for it. We got our beach fi by taking the one-day excursion to Saona Island.
The seven (7!) swimming pools were lovely and all with a different character. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the rooms were lovely. The staff was extremely responsive. The food at the restaurant was very good - lots of fresh seafood with an Italian flavor.

United StatesSuper pricey for what is offered and the staff is not friendly, definitely not what I'm used to when it comes to the Dominican Republic and its people who tend to be super nice and hospitable. There are also zero activities to do. It's a nice place to relax/for a beach club and to go for the day, but not worth the price to stay overnight. The rooms are outdated, and some of the towels and bed sheets were stained. The breakfast was just okay, and again the staff seem to be annoyed when serving us.
The pool area and views are very nice

Gorgeous pools and views overlooking the ocean. Grounds were well kept. Huge balcony. Dominicus beach is a 15 min walk, white sands, turquoise waters, safe to swim. It was a dream!

United StatesRestaurant prices were very high compared to other high end restaurants. I was charged 550 pesos for 4 shrimps I think that was very high and 400 pesos for a bottle of regular water. It felt like a scam.

United StatesThere was no exercise gym. The Coffee maker had to be plugged in on the floor. There was no outlet available on the countertop. I would recommend expanding the menu to more items eg churrasco, grilled salmon. Maybe pick the top sellers from Manolos Santo Domingo menu. Really need a few spicy choices.
The property was very well kept, great pool areas, room was clean and serviced well.

United StatesQuieter in the evenings than expected, but that also could have been due to off peak season.
Beautifully maintained grounds, gorgeous scenery, and really well laid out. There were a couple restrictions on where you could eat and drink, but didn’t end up being impactful at all. Felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! Staff was lovely as well. Alvarez and the rest of the bar and wait staff were incredibly helpful and made a great drink! Every meal was delicious, better than an all inclusive buffet style meal that’s for sure.

CanadaThe bathroom shower glass does not go all the way to the wall, so we accidentally let a bunch of water onto the floor in our first shower. It wasn't an issue after that.
This was our 4th or 5th stay at Tracadero, and our first since COVID. There has been so much positive change and growth at Tracadero since 7 years ago (when we first stayed there). We love the seawater pools, the quietness of the side for overnight guests, and the option to move between different spaces.

Puerto RicoThe main reason i stayed in the property was because of my birthday/ gender reveal with my girl that its 6 months pregnant. Tracadero Resort have some " picture packages " that the day before i noticed that the prices promoted (Starting at $400) don't even included a Photographer. I ended up finding a photographer which it was expremely easy via Airbnb BUT What was my problem.??? PAYING $400.00 FOR THE USE OF THE PROPERTY EVEN A PAY FOR 2 NIGHTS OF STAY AT THE HOTEL. I completly understand that if someone that is not staying at the hotel try to use your property for other pourpuses you will have to charge them a fee but why you charge to someone that will stay in the property???
My first time on the property was with a "day pass " and i felt i love with the view and now i decided to stay.. the staff was amazing specifically SMERLIN FROM Front desk her service was top notch and always give the extra Mile to assit you.
