Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesOur room was never really cleaned during the 4 days we stayed there, even though we put the door sign to request cleaning and were told it would be cleaned daily. We did get clean towels and our beds were refreshed on afternoon at 4:30, but no additional coffee or tea or vacuuming. All the other days there was no cleaning at all.
The breakfast was good, a buffet with eggs and bacon or sausage, a granola bar, or a plethora of meat & some cheese, fresh fruit & melon, coffeee and espresso from a machine,

Location was great! Very close to Tivoli, metro station, and other objectives in the city. Room was modern and pretty spacious compared to other hotels. Also had multiple options for food and a few supermarkets nearby which was great!

United KingdomWe could occasionally detect a bad smell at low level, coming from the drain of the bath, this got a bit worse over the few days we stayed. I had requested non-feather bedding in advance due to an allergy, but when I arrived I still had to go to reception to ask for this as I had been supplied with feather bedding.
Great central location, just a short walk from Tivoli and the central station. Balcony with great views. Generally clean and very comfortable large bed. Nice toiletries supplied.

IsraelThe main problem was the noise. Across the road there is a live concert hall, which is noisy every day between about 5pm and 11pm. The noise was unbearable, even when the windows were completely closed. It was impossible to sit on the balcony and it was impossible to sleep in the room. There were times it was relatively fine, and there were a few times we just had to walk from the room to another place. On the last night, which was Saturday night, there was also the noise of fireworks coming from Tivoli Gardens. It was the night before our flight back, and it was really hard to sleep. Although the location was central and that was fun, together with the noise, in my opinion it was not worth it. It is possible that rooms located towards the back of the building did not suffer so much from the noise, but those at the front, and especially on the lower floors, are very unfortunate. I also had some trouble communicating with the hotel regarding my reservation. We had two reservations because we could not get the reservation extended for more days. We asked to stay in the same room and got a generic message that it depends if the room is ready (?) and then it turned out we booked two different room types. We got that sorted out, but it seems they didn't even check when they emailed me back, which could have made trouble for us to move rooms for a single night.
We arrived in Copenhagen to participate in the conference. We actually stayed at the hotel for 6 nights, in two different bookings. We got a room with a balcony on the top floor, and the room was great - big, spacious, airy. We did not order breakfast which was too expensive for our taste.

GreeceThe rooms are not cleaned daily, which can be inconvenient for longer stays, and they come with only two towels. However, you can request daily cleaning, and the staff are always willing to provide extra towels when asked. This flexibility somewhat mitigates the issue, but it’s over all something to keep in mind. Also, the rooms are a bit small, which can make it difficult to find space for your luggage.
The hotel boasts a fantastic location, conveniently close to the city center and within easy reach of both train and metro stations, yet surprisingly quiet for such a central spot. The breakfast is rich and varied, offering a great start to the day. The staff are extremely helpful and always ready to assist with a smile. The room itself is well-designed, featuring a modern, brand-new bathroom and stylish LED lighting that creates a cozy atmosphere.

AustriaHonestly, I have nothing negative to say about my stay. Everything was just right, and I would definitely stay at the Wide Hotel again on my next visit to Copenhagen.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Wide Hotel in Copenhagen, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The hotel boasts a chic and modern design, with rooms that are both cozy and stylish. My room had a lovely balcony, which was perfect for enjoying the city’s atmosphere, and there was also a shared terrace that offered a great spot to relax. The staff at the hotel were incredibly lovely, helpful, and welcoming, always ready to assist with any requests or recommendations. The location couldn’t have been better – very central, making it easy to explore Copenhagen. It was within walking distance of several attractions, including museums, the city’s main shopping street, and the train station. It made getting around so convenient. Overall, my stay at Wide Hotel was fantastic, and I would definitely choose to stay there again the next time I visit Copenhagen.
