Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsThere was no window that you can open. Only two doors (enterance and terrass door). If you are not present or during the night there is no ventilation. In the summer this is not nice.
Small appartment but with for 1 or 2 nights enough. Also a small terrass. It was clean and everything you need is there.

Norwaywe arrived late, easy retrieval of the keys and found the cottage easily. the problem was the heat. the cabin had been sealed shut all day and it was 500 degrees in there. the pullout sofa bed was not made for two people, but it didn’t matter cause my bf slept on the floor to cool down. unfortunately an unpleasant stay, but at fault to the weather and sofa bed and not to the kind hard working people there.
it’s nice and inviting. cute cottages, playgrounds beautiful surroundings.

Wow. If you can avoid this place PLEASE DO. This was one of the worst places we stayed at ever. Positive things? Nothing really. There’s a lake in the back. As soon as we got to our “apartment” (it is not an apartment btw or studio) there were 4 guys smoking cigarettes in front of the door. When we parked our car, we caught one of them looking at “the tires” and snooping around our car. SKETCHY! Worst part is I think he worked for the place. When we got to our room, the STENCH of mold and humidity was overwhelming. It really stank. Worst part is we booked two nights. Spider webs EVERYWHERE. Basic cleanliness is not a standard here. The bathroom didn’t have soap. The smell and spiders were bad, in fact the smell was so bad that my clothes that I wore in the apartment smelled for days after. But what really drove me over the edge was the bed. A sofa bed..the most uncomfortable sofa bed I ever slept in. We hardly slept the whole trip, because of the back pain from the sofa bed. I would NOT recommend this place. An absolute lack of care for what you’re selling customers. A lack of basic cleanliness. A lack of the most BASIC hospitality or amenities.
