Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomShowers and roof of bathroom could have been better maintained.
The location was great as it was close to Forum Station and I enjoyed the beautiful view of Peblinge Sø which was a 5 minute walk away from the hotel.

BelgiumThe room are small with little space around the bed. The two single beds were on top of the double bed. This means that the highest of the two was at three meters high, with a protection on the side that did not seem super safe for kids because the gap between the bars was large. We found that it was safer for an adult to sleep in that bed. The bathroom is super small and gets completely wet when you shower.
The hotel is well positioned. It’s easy to reach the city center on foot. There is a big parking on site (fees).

NorwayA very ergonomic planning. Room supposedly had place to sleep for several people, but i am not sure how we should move inside if we were more then one in the room. Breakfast was very simple, just one type of egg, but it was possible to get smth else at reception. Despite this, all is very nice.
Room is clean and nice, no nose, windows could be open. Very nice personal, 24 reception. No noise .

AustraliaIt was dirty, paint peeling, stained carpet, dirty walls, dust, breakfast was serviceable and that’s all, one step above a basic hostel, when you compare it to the wake-up chain. Plugs on wall were dangerously loose, lights didn’t work. Shower floods bathroom. This was a return visit after 5 years, will not be returning or recommending.
Good location, central to Metro. friendly helpful staff.

DenmarkCheckin experience was not that good- the staff was not service oriented. Also there is mold in the shower as it’s literally a plastic box inside a room so bacteria can grow.

United Arab EmiratesEverything seemed to be clean, but then I pulled off a blanket from upper bed, there was a glass bottle with Vodka (it was a half of it), so if I didn’t react fast, it would hit my head. I left it there because we were not going to use upper bed anyway. The shower. Despite of the existence of shower curtains, if you have a shower, the whole bathroom is wet, and the floor is slippery It was quite expensive accommodation, but I compare with another countries, not Denmark
Location is good After check out we had an opportunity to wait for our flight in a waiting zone and it was more comfortable than in our room. Rema 1000 is close to hotel, metro station Forum is 7 mins away.

GermanyThe room was tiny and supposed to sleep 3, I had difficulties managing alone. The shower isn‘t separated at all from the rest of the bathroom so the whole floor will be wet after a shower. The ventilation was so weak it got really stuffy in the room and you can‘t open the window properly. It was quite noisy around and in the hotel. The whole place is very outdated and seems worn.
The neighbourhood is really nice and the city centre is close-by.

AustraliaLocation was quite a hike to the City and sights. The tiny room had no Air con and without the tiny fan we asked for, would have been uncomfortable. Shower flooded the bathroom each time it was used. The tiny area where the bed was positioned, made it awkward for the person closest to the window to exit the bed without disturbing the partner

United KingdomThe room was much too hot. No air con. Window restrictors. So we slept with the door open to get a little of air in.
Took me ages to work out how to use the shower - I think a notice up in the bathroom to say how to use it would be helpful

United Kingdom.the view from my window was a little bit unpleasant simply because I was on the ground floor.. and I didnt ever feel comfortable opening my curtains while I was in the room after i came out of the shower because the people could see me from the outside! The room was fine, Very basic. I wish the staff allowed me to store my yoghurt in their fridge. The room was more basic than I expected to be honest, I thought it would be a little bit nicer.
I loved having a kettle in the room. I really liked the location of the hotel which is why I chose it.

United StatesBathroom situation was a bit strange. It feels like a very small bathroom in a cruise ship. Breakfast could have had a different food item every day to change it up a bit. Breakfast was almost not worth the money.
