Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BelgiumRoom very basic and bathroom needs uprading. Weird layout. All entertainment bars and restaurants in one central hub in the middle of the hotel and all the rooms are situated around this. Which meant if you needed to go to reception on a busy Saturday night, then you needed to walk through the people sitting eating and drinking which felt awkward to me. The music went on till 3am but we were glad our room was tucked away at the back facing the outside.
Convenient for underground onsite parking and great location in the heart of the center. Choice of 3 restaurants onsite and a gin bar. Italian restaurant was excellent and service was good.

DenmarkOn a pretty quiet Thursday evening, the new bar staff and server in the 'Oasia' sushi restaurant appeared to be left a little too unsupervised resulting in unusually slow/somewhat disappointing service. The hotel's relationship with the parking company/companies is unfortunate. Europark especially risks damaging the hotel's reputation as a good city centre property. (I am not the only guest to feel this way.)
Reception staff were friendly and very informative. Also our request for the location of our room was fully met. 'Oasia' sushi restaurant food was as good as usual!

NetherlandsShower area was black with molds and mildew, you could smell them when you shower. Also my booking confirmation said that my check out time was 12:00 noon. But at 10:00 am, I was in the shower when staff just opened the (locked) room door to ask me if I will be checking out at 12:00 noon; I felt a bit of privacy violation there. It would have been better if the staff knocked and waited for me to open the door instead of just unlocking the door from the outside. Finally, my room was facing the square where there's a fountain and a church. Nice view, but the hotel's Asian restaurant was right below my room and was blasting dance music on Saturday and Sunday mornings when I wanted to sleep in late. The music was really loud and blasted through the closed windows of the hotel room.
Staff was very friendly. Close to train section, and near restaurants and shops in the town center

DenmarkFamily Room needed modernising. Also it had dirty curtains. Desk in Room was not Clean - had stains from cups and water stains. Not properly kept clean. Curtain didn't close property so the light from the street was annoying all night. Kids couldn't sleep. Ekstra bed was too hard to sleep on. Should have ekstra top madras. Pillows were too big, should have optional thinner ones. No breakfast included in room price - thats not so great either.
Great breakfast, restaurant was lovely and very modern.

United KingdomThe Restaurant struggled to serve us and were very slow. They did apologise and gave us a free coffee. There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, which for a BW is surprising and disappointing. This is a very expensive hotel.
Good location with plenty of parking, which is very good and secure. The room was clean tidy and plenty of space. The breakfast was excellent. Food in the Italian restaurant was exceptional.

DenmarkBeware that if you park underneath the hotel in the garage that you will need to pay for a full 24 hours and that you are charged again if you leave (for dinner) and come back. Make sure you have installed and set up EasyPark on your phone before arrival, as you will need it for parking around the hotel.
Right in the middle of town, beautiful and busy cocktail lounge downstairs. The hotel feels upmarket with location and the rooms a clean and tidy. I forgot my laptop in the room when I left and the hotel staff found it, contacted me and kept it in reception until I could come back to pick it up.

United KingdomBedroom was sparse and dull. Bathroom flooded when I showered and there was a floor to ceiling pillar next to my bed which I banged my leg against every time I moved or got out of bed. Despite the description in the confirmation, there was no hotel linked parking machine. Instead I had to scan aQR code every time I left the hotel and pay.

DenmarkThe ground floor rooms at the weekend can be noisy from street revellers. Be aware!
My wife and have stayed here many times previously. The front-of-house staff are charming and helpful. We alkways use the Oasia Sushi Restaurant - and we never fail to be delighted by the ambience, the service level - and of course, the amazing Japanese food. (The ad libitum sushi is a steal at the price and quality!) The Saturday disco in the great Gin Bar area was cool and entertaining.
