Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomIn some places the bedroom could have been cleaned a bit more and instead of paper cups in the room, it would have been nice to have mugs so we felt like we were throwing less away (even though they are meant to be sustainable!). Other than that, we loved it :)
Great location - a 2 minute walk from the station, the meatpacking district with loads of great restaurants and Tivoli gardens. It was the perfect base for exploring the city and felt really nice and warm to come back and chill after a long day. Bedrooms were really comfortable and decorated nicely and the rest of the hotel felt homely with friendly staff.

Did not not take breakfast as it had to be paid for separately and it was considered quite pricy (30 euro per day). Location is good, personal is frieddly and helpful.

United KingdomI fully applaud the eco credentials of the hotel but in reality the towels were rough and scratchy which is not what I am looking for at a hotel and the toilet paper reminded me of school! The bathroom design was poor as there was a large bamboo towel rail behind the door which meant the door didnt fully open. This was at least movable though so we put in in the shower when not using the shower. The sink was a very small odd design that meant the countertop got soaked every time you used the sink. Equally the shower caused the bathroom floor to become soaked! Also no heated towel rail which I can see is sort of saving energy but then there was no way of drying the towels so they got replaced every day which creates more laundry! Also the lighting everywhere was very dim. If you read the small print very carefully it is true that they state that use of the basic spa facilities are not included ( i.e. the sauna) but this felt misleading as the promotional material includes several images of this. Rather like a photograph of a hotel pool that you have to then pay extra to use. And even if you had wanted to use it, it is only open for very limited periods.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel created a little place of sancturary with lots of lush planting in the common spaces and the decor was attractive. The organic breakfast was delicious ( although not included). We opted for a deluxe double to get a bit of extra space and were glad we did as this gave us a chair and desk area. It is very conveniently located next to the metro which was great for getting around and the trains are super frequent. We also used the hotel hire bikes which were great

Bed super comfortable, wonderful decor, lovely outside courtyard and great location near to central train station. The spa facility is an absolute must, especially if you’ve been out all day exploring or at work.

United KingdomThe floors were wooden so you can hear your neighbor in the rooms above and next to you very clearly which was really annoying. The shower is electronic and self cleans so my floor got wet in the bathroom before I used it. The gym is really small and you can't use the spa unless you pay for it which is not good considering the cost of the room. I did not have breakfast as I did not want to pay additional money. Overall not sure I would return due to the noise disturbance
The decor was really nice and the bed was very comfortable. The location is great a few minutes from train station and metro. Lots of bars and restaurants around. The courtyard is lovely and very peaceful

IndiaThe bathroom design is not the best. The tub took up too much space. They had a small shower area as well but there was no screen so water spills everywhere and it gets messy. The wash basin in stone is super cute but tiny and water spills out everywhere! User experience is compromised for aesthetics.
Room is very cute; better than what it looks in photos. Very bohemian vibe throughout the hotel.

SwedenOur check-in was delayed with 40 minutes because the lock didnt work. We received no symbolic compensation or apology for the waiting time and since we only stayed one night in Copenhagen, time mattered very much to us. Our friends, who also happened to stay at the hotel at the same time, also had a delayed check-in with around the same waiting, but they received a free breakfeast.
