Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

South AfricaWe requested two single beds but we were allocated a king bed. The floor plan was also a little confusing, I walked around the whole floor once trying to find a lift.
We picked the hotel purely for the close proximity to the trains. We were genuinely surprised at how amazing the hotel was. This is in a great location close to public transport, restaurants and shops. The hotel is beautiful and has a very nice restaurant and bar downstairs. They also have a rooftop bar with beautiful 360 views and we spent our first night there. The rooms are also spacious with views and a balcony. We were happy here.

The hotel had a vibe! I loved the common areas, which were so cosy and inviting. If I only had more time to get a drink and sit in front of that huge fireplace! (Maybe next time) The location was outstanding and the receptionist made my stay so comfortable allowing me to check-in earlier.

United KingdomThere was a 600€ bond on arrival, which we were aware of beforehand, but £547 was debited immediately from my bank account and only £525 was refunded on departure. I emailed the Hotel, but have not received a reply. This seems unreasonable as we were told that no money would actually be taken and we had no charge against our room. Worth being aware of and rather disappointing. I think we’d pay the bond in cash next time and hope to get the whole amount back, rather than being dependent on the exchange rate! Also, the Rooftop Bar was fully booked during our stay, so we were unable to enjoy the view!
This is a beautiful Hotel with a lovely atmosphere. The location is great in terms of visiting landmarks within the City and is only 10 minutes walk from Berlin Zoo. Plenty of Restaurants, Bars and Coffee shops nearby. We found the Reception Staff helpful and friendly on check in with good suggestions about how to spend our time in Berlin. Although we had only booked the Petit Room it was spacious enough and immaculately clean. Housekeeping was excellent. We spent time in the Bar most evenings and the Staff here were lovely, although Friday and Saturday evening the atmosphere changed and it was extremely busy with non residents. Security staff that evening were less than friendly! Highly recommend staying here. We hope to return.

TurkeyThe decoration of the hotel is great.The room is big enough, clean and nice.The bed and pillows are comfy.The bathroom is very ok.The little staff like coffee machine, slippers,hair set and make up set are super nice, they make a little cotton bag for these small things make them cute and looks luxury. The hotel is next to Apple Store.Hard to find it at first because it is written very small.The Ku'damm area is nice not so crowded and touristic but full of fancy stores and brands. There is a good restaurant under the hotel also a club until 3 in the morning.The terrace bar is nice also.

United KingdomBeing able to hear loud music for most of the day and night. We didn’t complain about it, as previous guests had done so in the past, but to no avail.
The hotel overall is very opulent, with the drinks and food being somewhat expensive. Breakfast at the hotel was €45:00 each, which, although the selection was vast, the price didn’t match the occasion, ie, it was just breakfast. Staff overall were helpful and friendly, but, I would add one critique where the Security Staff are concerned, pay more attention to the paying, hotel guests when the lift is out of action, and pay less attention to the pretty rooftop bar visitors. The bar on the top floor is lovely and definitely worth going to, although my husband and I found it a little pretentious. Music was a little loud from around lunchtime until the early hours, which has been noted in many other reviews. Overall, we had a nice break, in a very nicely themed hotel, with very helpful and friendly reception staff.
