Unfortunately the bar/restaurant was closed for some form of maintenance, so getting breakfast, or food in general was always connected with taking a trip into town.

The room was really nicely decorated and had lots of space. The whole establishment was easy to find and located in a very quiet area. Overall it was super cozy.

You obtain a room key by entering a PIN into a vending machine. By booking via booking.com I haven't received (or didn't find) any special PIN to use for that purpose. I tried the booking.com PIN -- but that's used for talking to booking.com agents I guess, so it didn't work for the machine. Luckily I arrived at the time as the hotel/restaurant staff were still there (9pm), so they were able to issue me the key. How it would work had I arrived later -- I'm not sure... The phone number was provided in the booking confirmation, so obviously I would depend on somebody responding to my call and helping me with the PIN -- I'm happy I didn't have to test that. Perhaps a bit more specific information provided in the booking.com confirmation would be good to provide some assurance for those who arrive late.

The hotel is not the top of course, but it did provide everything I needed: parking, a heated room, clean and comfortable bed, shower. The price/feature ratio is very good -- hard to beat almost. The single room was just that -- sufficient for a single person. I could have squeezed in a dog bed easily, but this time I traveled without my furry companion, anyway. There's a nice feeling getting up in the morning thanks to the forest environment. The staff is OK, pleasant and helpful. There is a restaurant in the ground floor -- not available for breakfast, but they do offer a good food (including local stuff, such as franconian sausages and beer) in the evening. The access is very good for car travelers. If you chose not to use the car during your stay and want to access the city on foot -- there is a final U1 station Langwasser Süd some 15min light walk away. There's also a bus station in front of the property, not sure how frequently it drives.

The shower was pretty tight. In the morning there is no staff at the premises and the beer garden is closed.

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel - it is on the road right next to a forest. The room and the bathroom were on the small side, but they were clean. We arrived at 10 PM, but we called at the beer garden upfront and they kindly prepared some food for us before the kitchen closed. We were happy that we could enjoy a quick dinner and a couple of beers in the garden.

There was no flexibility to adjust the dates , they want to simply charge me money even though the hotel is not in huge demand. The facilities are just below par, not worth for a single room, it is too small in size

The bed (more precisely the mattress) was terrible, it was really a pain to get up in the morning...:S The doors have absolutely no noise insulation, so that in your bed you will hear every door opening and closing in the motel. The restaurant on the ground floor was not open (winter break), sadly there was no prior info on that at the booking.

Friendly staff, nice (rural) location next to a forest. Easy to access by car, parking provided by the facility. The room and the provided sheets + towels were fresh and clean. Subway station with connection to the city centre is reachable by a 2 km walk through the forest.

It was the most dirty bathroom I have ever seen, and I am traveling a lot. I don't believe the bathroom was cleaned after previous guests, you could see it on the toilet and on the sink, lots of hair on the flor, also on the sink. The shower was not cleaned in ages, the shower gel is sticking on the shower walls and especially on the corners it already looks like silicone. But is shower gel. The walls of the room haven't been painted for a long,long time, dirt marks everywhere, but this is not a problem when you stay only one night. I do appreciate we had clean towels and clean sheets, considering the rest.

The receptionist was nice, we didn't used the restaurant. The room was good sized, was nice to have the sofa made as a bed for my son. The bed sheets were clean.

Everything's was great, apart from an all night long party in the beer garden, which we were not advised of at the time of the booking. Having a room facing beer garden where the music and talking over the microphone kept us up all night. So travelling with the baby and needing to have a rest after long journey this was far from ideal.
