We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe dated decor in the bedroom felt very 90s. Perhaps replace the Egyptian prints with something more fitting e.g. Bavarian. The TV seemed old with a poor picture however this didn't bother me as I don't watch TV on holiday. Hairdryer wasn't very powerful. Upon arrival we waited quite a while at the unmanned reception (20 mins) before realising to check emails where we found instructions to check-in. It wasn't clear at reception to ring the doorbell in the porch for assistance. For arriving guests, a displayed sign to ring the doorbell would have helped make check-in quicker and clearer.
The new owner greeted us and explained it was under new management & open to honest feedback to improve the facilities moving forward. We booked this hotel just a few hours before arrival as we altered our travel plans last minute & needed a different place to stay. The price of this hotel was reason for our booking as was highly competitive & included breakfast. We were delighted with our spontaneous choice. The building is traditional Bavarian. A beautiful room was prepared for us whilst we sat & had a drink. Room 19 overlooked the quiant village and forest. Beautiful location in a small & quiet village nestled among the forest. The sound of cowbells and farm animals was so idyllic whilst relaxing on the balcony all summer evening. Bedroom was very spacious with a bathroom that worked well. Bathroom toilettries provided which included mini bottles of shampoo/shower gel and moisturiser, toothbrush which proved handy, boxed tissues. Dressing gowns, slippers and towels also provided. Beds very comfy. Balcony had useful table/chairs and one sun lounger. Rooms also included table/chairs and storage for unpacking. Breakfast was included in the price and the choice was fair. Self-service beer fridge with honesty box was a nice idea, but we didn't use it. Little chocolates were placed on the bed as a delightful welcome and this really made me smile as I love chocolate. I really enjoyed my two nights' stay here and would recommend.

LithuaniaWe were met by the owner who seemed as a very nice person in general. The place is great for Schwarzwald exploration and if you're coming from Freiburg by car (like we did) you'll be met with the most beautiful landscapes on your way. Also be sure to book a room with a balcony - the view is amazing. Overall, we felt like at home. Thank you!
