Brilliant. Receptionist was absolutely magnificent. The room was 10 out of 10. The view was extraordinary. The provisions made to reduce noise are amazing. Could hardly hear anything. The breakfast is faultless. What a beautiful place and will defiantly return. So central and easy to find.

We absolutely loved Villa Vie! The room was large and provided comfortable amenities (bed, chaise lounge). Our room had a castle/river view which was breathtaking! They have tons of wine to take to your room or share on the patio that overlooks the river / castle.

Pillows slightly uncomfortable, and the bathroom/toilet area isn't really isolated from the rest of the room, so noises can be heard.

Excellent location, rooms with wonderful view (the host had us visit the available rooms and let us choose our favourite one). Good breakfast, easy parking just in front of hotel.

Would have preferred coffee facilities in the room (a kettle or coffee machine)... just for the early birds and without having to get dressed to get a cup of coffee :)

The rooms were very quiet and cosy. Big windows with amazing views. The breakfast was served from 08:00 daily and reasonably priced. Great and fresh variety of goodies! Walking distance from the city center and surrounded by amazing restaurants.

Room was clean, staff was very kind. Breakfast was delicious. Location is also great with a nice view. You can have a nice walk to the city center near the river. I really enjoyed the contemporary design if the hotel, a mix of both vintage and modern. Also, they have box games, pens and papers for kids in the lobby.

A single duvet on a double bed can get a little chilly if you wriggle about. Bring a blanket if you like getting cosy.

Fabulous breakfast with river views, great staff, and excellent location. Classical architecture with contemporary decor. One of my favourite places to stay in the region.

The view of the castle from our room was jaw dropping. The rooms were very cozy and clean. We stayed at 5 total hotels on our trip through Germany and this hotel had the best, most fresh breakfast.

Wonderful hotel with breathtaking views over the castle and river. The personnel was incredibly friendly and helpful, from the receptionist to the cleaning ladies. This is a family friendly hotel, with a great breakfast and private parking, just a few minutes walk from the city. The wine selection at the honesty bar was excellent. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this region.

Great location with a river and castle view. Pretty good breakfast. Very friendly hotel staff. Parking right next to the hotel is available. The hotel room is very clean. Bed was quite comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The room, while it has all basics, it was incredibly plain and had no decoration. Just basics. It was surprising since the stay per night is not cheap and the photos of the rooms online were beautiful. The staff was quite distant and barely present. We personally enjoy going to small hotels like this because we love connecting with the hosts, but this trip we felt there was no one around. We were also surprised that we were charged 5€ per night for the parking.

The villa is incredibly beautiful. The views were amazing and the general energy was calm and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting in the terrace and enjoying card games while drinking wine from their bar. The location is really nice and quiet, with a nice food place (the wine garden) in front and walking distance to Cochem. It was very easy to reach and drive out of the city, and parking was very available. The breakfast room was very nice with a big selection of foods and drinks. The staff also provided gluten-free bread.
