Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomLocation outside the city is easily reached by tram and bus - the stop is 100m away. We enjoyed being away from the city centre because the journey in gave us views of the city. Alternatively, a short walk to the funicular railway gives an added dimension to the travel into the city. Big rooms in the hotel in a quiet location.

Czech RepublicThe bedding wasn’t the best. The mattress was a bit on the soft side. The pillows were loose and wouldn’t stay in shape. Also, there wasn’t enough lighting in the room. Don’t know whether this was done on purpose but it’s better to have enough lighting and leave that to the discretion of the guests.
Quality furniture. The hotel is clean and looks great, even picturesque.

Very clean and comfortable room. Friendly front desk. Breakfast was delicious and at 11 euros per person, not a bad deal since there is not much close by.

FranceThe villa is very nice, but it is adjacent to a construction site, which is not seen on pictures. But the worst was a loud disco in the adjacent Parkhotel which made it impossible to sleep until 4 AM (even with the ear buds which were provided by the host). Such events are roughly once in 1-2 months, so check the schedule before you book.
Adjacent forest park and nice residential quarter. Breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is in a very quiet part of Dresden, the area is easily accessible. The staff was very nice and the breakfast filling.
