It was too warm and the room had no AC, which should be not so bad but there was a mosquito. If it is warm, you cannot close your window, therefore, mosquitoes can enter. I would leave a mosquito machine there and leave a small fan. This would make a difference for the well being of the clients during the warm weather. And, the tendency is that it will get warmer every year.

There is a terrace restaurant, but it was all booked out so even as guest we could't eat or have a drink there. There was some error in the booking system so they didn't know we were coming. We ended up leaving without having used the terrace (even if it was a reason we wanted to stay there). Host couldn't recommend any restaurant but asked us to look around, maybe we would be lucky, although he didn't seem enthusiastic on our behalf. We were lucky to find the most beatiful jugendstilhotel belle epoque just next by to eat in. It was perfectly restaured with wonderful jugend furniture, paintings and architecture with a view to the river. We ate the most delicious three course menu we've had on our whole trip with a perfectly matched local wine menu, with perfect service. We would love to stay there another time, as the hotel, even if bit more expensive, had pool, sauna, and wonderfull jugenstyle rooms. Other than that the host were out of turist information and could not recommend us anything to do within 20 km of the place. He asked us to just google. We ended up eating finding our own way and ate the most delicious lunch with view over the valley at grevenburg across the river. Can be recommended as alternative to hotel breakfast. We wouldn't mind to stay here again though 😊

Only available was 3 bed room, it was in fourth floor, huge and with beautiful view over river and landscape. Decent pricing. Windows could be opened to create av cooling draft. TV was enormus The staff was polite and friendly. It was clean and comfortable. Our room was big and in good condition.

The room was dated and could do with an update, my husband found the bed to be too hard. For me black out curtains would have been great as light was getting in from the street.

The hotel was easy to find and the location was excellent. It is right on the river near the bridge. The shower was excellent, lovely and strong after a day of cycling. The room was adequate.

Very Disappointing. The room smelled, as it was not open for a very long time. The bathroom was very dirty. And, to complete, a member of the cleaning staff just entered our room without knocking or announcing herself before the check out time. Therefore, very disappointing.

the door to my room was opposite to a wooden staircase. people returning to their rooms in the evening woke me up through their talking and walking. it wasn't too late though. afterwards the whole night was quiet and I booked again for future.

Some constructions are on-going otherwise no issues at all. Prices on the English menu ought to be updated. I ordered a 0.2L Rose sparkling, it was Euro 5.50 and turned out to be Euro 9.80, upon checking, the price was not updated.

There was someone looking after the place when we arrived who was lovely but had clearly been given no information about our booking/arrival. Very unsettling when you’re on the road with a baby. The two rooms we had were furnished in what can only be described as found furniture. Whatever they had lying around. The mattresses were unbearably hard and I’m not sure the top floor rooms are in keeping with Brandschutz. If you’re looking for a good night‘s sleep, this is not the place, it’s uncomfortable, and in a loud location with a wine bar on the corner and cruise ships out the window.

The location and views are great.
