Can't fault this place.

As always this hotel never fails to impress, although when in summer the lack of AC in the room can be an issue.The bed was comfortable and plenty of pillows.The bathroom was new and modern fittings.Love this hotel.

Facilities could have been better, bearing in mind the cost (doubtless due to the European Football Championships - Euro 2024) being held. No fridge in the room and there were no English speaking news channels available on the room TV which is poor. Tea making facilities were inadequate - not even a spoon to stir your tea or coffee! Breakfast was ok but there could have been a wider choice. One important note is that I booked this hotel through booking.com some 7 months previously. In the meantime I received over a dozen emails allegedly from the hotel, showing also the booking.com logo, saying my payment card could not be validated and asking for more money or my credit card details. I assumed this was a scam but I phoned booking.com who were excellent and assured me my booking was ok and valid. This was clearly a scam. I mentioned this on checkout and asked to speak to the Manager. I was told she worked from home and was unavailable. Really?? I was told others had made similar comments and that they were investigating.... Not good enough in my opinion. A warning to you all as this scam is becoming more prevalent Anyway, as for the hotel it is good, but in my opinion it is slightly overrated and definitely overpriced.

A pleasant room, fortunately not at the front of the hotel as the area was noisy. Bed was comfortable and the room was good, although smaller than I expected for a Superior Room. Bathroom facilities were good.

My bedroom faced a busy road with a lot of traffic and there was no air conditioning in the room, so I had to open the window because it was too warm. Unfortunately when I did that I could not sleep well because of the noise of traffic on the street. The bedroom should have had air conditioning so I wouldn't have had to open the window. Also, the breakfast room was too small for the amount of guests. The tables were too tightly packed together which made it difficult to get out of your chair.

The hotel lobby and bar I liked the best.

Prior to arrival I was emailed multiple times with a scam claiming to be the property asking for additional payments.

Beds are a little uncomfortable or pillows too soft. There was a bad smell in the bathroom at times. I also flooded the bathroom once as the curtain let out the water.

Breakfast was great. All you could want and very tasty. Location is fantastic. Rooms are very spacious.
