The hotel was in the perfect location near all the great tourist attractions and close to the trains. The room was cozy and the staff super friendly and helpful. The brunch was nice but otherwise we didn’t use the restaurant.

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Torbräu. Greeted by, I would have to say... "The nicest gentleman ever to check us in anywhere" (sorry didn't get his name). We had a beautiful room that was well appointed, the room included a complimentary mini bar, and the bathroom was beautiful with a spa. Down in the lobby the hotel served snacks every afternoon for guests. The hotel is in a great location to old town. Lovely experience.

Everything was great.

We arrived late on a foggy evening and it was wonderful to be greeted in a cheerful and welcoming manner by the very kind woman at reception who appeared to be expecting us. She then arranged for a kettle to be sent up to our room so we could make a cup of tea. It was a great start to a very pleasant short stay at the end of a six week trip. The room was spacious, clean and well designed with plenty of storage space. The bed was comfortable with very nice bedding. The bathroom had nice quality towels and toiletries and the shower was very good. Everything worked perfectly. The next morning we had no problem arranging an extension of our stay to 6pm, and the staff even serviced our room for us. The location is excellent, very close to Isator and the SBahn so it is easy to get to the airport or to travel around the city. It is only a very short walk to Marienplatz for shopping and sight seeing. There are plenty of options close by for cafe style or restaurant dining. Despite being on a busy street the hotel was very quiet.

Fabulous location just minutes easy walk to all of the sights, three minutes to Hofbrauhaus, five to the Marienplatz, five to the Viktualienmarkt. Stylish rooms and a really wonderful breakfast.

The property was beautiful but not as close to the Oktoberfest as led to believe. We had to walk 35 minutes each way to get there.

We had a small double room and it was exactly that. The shower is very small were not big people and it was hard to move in the shower without banging off the doors. The pillows in the room were so flat which did not make for a comfy sleep these could be improved on. There was a little cafe beside the hotel and food selection was quite poor and this was the hotel bar also I think. It wasn't not explained very well on arrival. We would book again for this hotel but opt for a larger room and ask for other pillows.

The hotel was in a very central location and close to Isator train station which was excellent for access to the airport. The neighborhood felt safe and easy to reach lots of the sights in Munich. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was excellent.

The internet connection was spotty and I had trouble connecting several times. I was fine in other parts of the hotel, but my room in particular had this issue.

Very kind, lovely staff. The gentlemen at the front desk were helpful. The location is outstanding and it was quiet considering it's in the middle of a busy area.

The location is amazing. There is a train station right outside of the hotel and the hotel is walking distance to the city center. The room was nice size and comfortable once we figured out how to turn on the AC. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We hope to be back soon!

Slightly noisy from outside in our room in the street, however it was Oktoberfest closing weekend we stayed.

Great location, perfect to get the S-Bahn (S1/S8) to/from the airport, helpful staff. Great breakfast too.

The smell is the bathroom. It was the drain in the shower. As soon as we showered the stench of sewage filled the room. Really bad and unfortunately would keep us from staying here again. Otherwise everything was great!
