The breakfast was basic continental. I would have preferred a hot breakfast option. Again, this is due to having a restricted diet. No kettle in the room or lift to access high floors

Very lovely hosts who made us feel at home. I really liked the menu as it listed all the major allergens. I was able to find a choice of options, even with a restricted diet. The room suited our needs and had a lovely large balcony.

The hotel 4 stars but 4pm no people working here. Old towels and pillows need replacing. Dusty balcony, no one cleans. Dirty floors

Sadly the evening meal was what let this hotel down. It was buffet style, which for a hotel of this size & quality was disappointing - there is no upside to food being kept warm. Not only did our large group have to get up constantly to fill our plates which makes for a less than relaxing evening, especially as half the group of 10 were seated on a long bench which meant everyone had to move if someone wanted a refill, but not one member of staff came to offer us drinks or take away the dirty plates - we had to search out staff to get drinks! (the waiter seemed to be on his phone most of the time). Such a shame as we were disappointed by this. The indoor bar area was small & lacking any ambiance - it felt like an afterthought.

The location was great & peaceful, surrounded by green space with a great view. The room was stylish & comfortable, the bathroom well-lit & spacious. We would have enjoyed the small terrace had the weather been better. The checkin staff were friendly. Covered parking area was great but small. There were comfortable areas with seating & a large terrace when the weather was nice (sadly not in our case). Gluten free bread was available.

Absend refreedge in room. I can not put my bottles of water, mozarella and cacao. Room window abow noisy road. Unconvenient bathroom with part of it in leaeing room. Absend some gigienic matter.

Both pool and sauna belong to a clinic (3min away by walk) and make you feeling a bit intruder! I would have preferred to know in advance.

Perfect venue to enjoy the forest. very nice view. The hotel has a new area with modern very comfortable rooms. Breakfast ok.

Unfortunately, the sauna and pool are located in another hotel, a short walk away - not ideal in winter. Entertainment at the hotel is directed towards older hotel guests, with a lot of religious elements, not families and children.

Rooms were comfortable with a view on the town and the forest. Breakfast takes place in a great dining room, and has good options.

impersonal vibe. reception often closed, elderly cleaning lady came barging in my room twice around 9am, even after I told her I wasn't ready yet. thin, noisy walls. woke up multiple times of other guests slamming their doors shut

The room and bathroom was old and in desperate need for a refurbishment. No air conditioning or ventilation(the one in bath wasn’t working at all). Limited options at the breakfast which is quite expensive in addition.

Worn carpets, creaking floors and just old and tired. Even as a guest, was told I couldn’t eat in the restaurant as “they only have a limited capacity” even though at least 50% of tables were free. Very rude restaurant “manager”

At times the bar/restaurant staff appeared to be stressed which reflected in their service. At all other times and other staff the service was excellent.

The location of the hotel was excellent sitting on the terrace watching the setting sun was fantastic.

Restaurant was fully booked on both nights so had to go into the town for meals.

Typical germanic experience. Managed to brush up on my german lessons from 50 years ago !! spotlessly clean and good staff. Good breakfast

Swimming pool is in a separate building (a clinic) you need to walk outside 3 min to get there, and Swimming pool was cold or not warm enough for us ( both water and the ambient). The restaurant only offers fixed buffet menu, and its fixed price (drinks not included) is too high for the quality offered.

They claim to have room service, but nobody would pick up the phone.When we went down our own , the lady screamed on me if I didn't see how many people they had in the restaurant. And then she said :" anyway, romm service is charged" The hair dryer wasn't working, but as of 18:30 reception is deserted....so ..... no help there. In the restaurant , the windowsill is full of dead flies. We had to kill some insects in the room........ on the 1st floor. This is everything BUT 4 stars....... at the very best...... a 1 star pension
