Not a dislike exactly but we wished the ‘spa’ had more features such as a pool and various hot cold tubs and was better explained (couldn’t figure out some features)

There was a conference going on during our stay which was quite dominant in the reception area so you couldn’t get a feel for the public spaces really. But we still enjoyed!

The hotel is clean, the room is spacious with a big bath. The location is perfect, just in the center of the city. Breakfast was okay.

We have been customers for the last 4 years and this time, we were charged for using the e-car chargers for the first time. The total daily for parking and charging was 44€ in addition to all the other charges.

Someone knocking on our door at 8.30 pm, only to find out in the morning the hotel offers a turndown service. I've never been offered one before, so it came as a bit of a shock.

The hotel is beautiful, perfect location. Our room (202) was excellent, the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was huge. We didn't book breakfast but had breakfast in their cafe/restaurant. The Eggs Benadict was delicious. We will definitely return.

For the price I think I the view had to be at the front side, not the backyard. The breakfast had a lot of choices but the quality was not very good.

Parking is immediately at the back of the hotel with easy access to the hotel. Fast check-in process. Very friendly and forthcoming reception employees. Spacious room that was absolutely clean with all features working properly. Excellent beds, spacious bath room with a seperated toilet and a large walk-in shower. Very nice bar with excellent choice of drinks and food. Well equipped gym and a beautiful spa.

The room was very stuffy. The second night, we opened the window. No matter what we did, the room was muggy and warm- made sleeping uncomfortable.

Upon arrival, a few young people came up to our room to deliver macrons and fruit. It was such a lovely surprise!! They were very welcoming and professional. Such a nice bright start to our time in Augsburg. I also LOVE the pillow menu and the smell of the soap in the room.

More or less everything. Excellent welcome and very helpful staff. Excellent room, very large and quiet and well heated (it was winter). Even though we were on the main street, the acoustic insulation was quite OK, and no noise came from the street or elsewhere. Large and perfectly functioning bathroom. Excellent breakfast in a large and nice room with plenty of choice (even real orange juice, for a change). Parking very close and easy to reach from inside the hotel. Very good location to walk downtown. On the whole, a recommendable 5 star hotel: expensive, not tremendously fancy (and we don't like too fancy hotels which charge for silly things), but overall worth it.

Each time I arrive at Maximilian is like coming home. They provide a unique atmosphere which I enjoy each time. The location right at the center of the city is perfect. The bar is probably the best at all.

A bit expensive compared to other equivalent places we stayed in Germany especially with extra cost for parking.

Hotel was perfectly located to explore Augsburg and having parking available was a bonus in old town area. Room was clean and spacious enough for family of 4.
