The entry of the parking house is very narrow and parking is quite expensive, but that was to expect as the hotel is very central.

It's very central, directly at the market place opposite of the Frauenkirche. The room was great and the staff was very nice. As requested, we got an additional cot in our room. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon!

Everything was excellent, above all i want to commend the staff for their profesionalism, and eagerness to help. The location is fantastic, every Dresden highlight is within a 15-20 min walk. The room was great, as was the breakfast.

The breakfast isn’t as good as the sister hotel in Leipzig which was excellent. The hotel is looking a little tired. The bar is also very uninviting.

The breakfast buffet is good, but not exceptional. The room is also too small.

Very confortable hotel in a fantastic location near the Frauenkirche in the middle of Dresden. The name "hotel de Saxe" should recall that at this location was until 1888 one of the best hotels of the town. The facade is successful 2006 reconstruction of the original hotel that was already in 1888 destroyed, i.e., long before WWII.

All fabulous

Beautiful location, easy for walking everywhere. Fantastic room, spotlessly clean and the comfiest beds I've ever slept in during a hotel stay. The breakfast was the best we've had in Germany this year, delicious! Staff were extremely pleasant and were happy to help. Tip - get to breakfast early so you have a chance to eat out on the balcony.

We have stayed at a Steigenberger before in Cairo and absolutely loved it. This was no different. The hotel is so centrally located, it was perfect. The room was spacious and beautiful. Taxis were extremely hard to come by as Dresden does not seem to use any of the major taxi apps. Majority of the taxis seem to be Taxi Dresden which has an app but you cannot verify a US number. So we were able to use their shoddy website a few times, but the Steigenberger was able to help arrange a taxi quickly and efficiently in minutes to get to the train station.

It was lovely, comfortable,and in wonderful location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Was able to sit in bar and watch euro24 games and not required to purchase any food or drink. Room had comfortable chairs for sitting and reading. WiFi worked well.

The front desk staff were very helpful. The breakfast was wonderful and delicious, with a variety of options. Even though we only stayed one night, it was an excellent experience. The location was excellent. Easy walking to all the sights, and to the opera.

Everythig was perfect.

Very comfortably furnished rooms, comfortable bed, delicious breakfasts and, without a shadow of a doubt, the best location in the city. We especially recommend taking a table on the balcony and having breakfast with a view of the beautiful market square in Dresden. It was a very nice stay.

The Steigenberger was pristine, and the location was perfect. As we went about our day, we were easily able to return to the hotel because of its centralized location. The hotel was sparkling clean and the service friendly.
