At night receptionist lady did not sell us water. When I asked why she just said “I can’t” :) still weird. Location and room was great.

I had to book as a triple room in order to guarantee two beds. I was travelling with my brother, so it would have been nice to be able to book a room as a double with two separate beds.

Great location -- very convenient to the main train station, public transportation and a short walk from Theresienwiese (the fairgrounds where Oktoberfest is held) and Marienplatz (in the other direction). I loved that they put pretzels out. The staff was great -- friendly, helpful, and English was no problem at all. The room was quiet. Proximity to transportation hubs was convenient on rainy days and Sundays (when most everything else is closed), and obviously super convenient for day-trips. The neighborhood is a bit more international and had a few panhandlers, but we never felt unsafe, even late at night. I had two back-to-back reservations, and they were able to get me into the second room early so I didn't have to leave by bags as the desk between check-out and check-in.

Room was fine, but noisy from the traffic. Also very much overlooked by high buildings opposite. Would have helped to have net curtains.

The area between Munich's main station and Karlsplatz is a bit sketchy. I was surprised by that. It was still a convenient location since it was close to the station if you come by train, or near several parkings if you come by car. And it was very close to Marienplatz and the main things to visit as a tourist in Munich.

The room had lots of space. We had a triple with a real extra bed instead of a pull out, so our son slept well and was happy. There was enough room for suitcases and sitting. The bathroom looked new and everything worked well. We had discounted parking.

Room was very small and strange design with open shower cubicle and sink. There was only space to put my small luggage down on the floor opposite the bathroom area but the shower splashed water on to the floor which wet my clothes. A table to place luggage off the ground would be ideal.

Great location, short walk to parkhaus, restaurants, shops and Marienplatz. Friendly staff. Clean and quiet room.

Hotel is in a noisy location, so having to have the windows open (no AC) at night can make it hard to sleep. Also, the shower facing out into the room instead of the WC is a bit odd.

The only thing less recommendable is the space of the rooms. I stayed with one friend in room 314. You have to put your luggager well away in order to prevent falling over it. There is no wardrobe.

Good morning, 3 friends and I stayed here from 15 till 18 September 2023. Nearly every detail of Stachus gets an "A reward". The location is perfect if you visit Munich for the Oktoberfest. A very positive thing is that everything is brand new which you can well see in the sanitary installations.

Probably because we stayed at the top floor, our room was very hot at night.. neither opening windows nor turning on the portable fans didnt work out to make it cooler.. besides we had a noisy room.. No phone, no air conditioning, no minibar in the room..

Have stayed here twice now, convenient for walking access to the centre of Munich and U-Bahn/S-Bahn connections to the Munich Messe. Hotel is clean and modern, with an excellent breakfast.

The price I paid was approx 50% higher compared to whta a friend of my paid who arrived on the last evening.

Room was towards the main street so when window opened quite loud, otherwise a very nice room
