There is no "do not disturb" door hanger. I would prefer housekeeping not to come into my room, but there is no way to indicate that.

Nice old hotel - but the right kind of "old". The architecture is great. We had a balcony room. Front desk staff was friendly. Not a far walk from the u-bahn station.

Don't have Aircon. For us not a problem in early May but I wouldn't stay here summer time.

Clean nice hotel all worked. Very nice and helpful reception. Friendly breakfast staff. Centrally located. We had group 10 people and we left happy!

Room,although clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed, was a little cramped. The bathroom in particular was very small with the toilet and wash basin almost on top of each other. Would imagine a larger person would have difficulty in negotiating the facilities.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location just behind the Kufurstendam was very good and the area seemed very safe. The hotel is situated in a beautiful old building with the old original staircase.

My room was on the same floor as the reception and breakfast area. As the door not seals with the floor, I got woken up by the breakfast smell as well as the noise coming from the breakfast area. In addition the rooms are not very sound proof. I heard my neighbor coughing all night.

Bathroom had obvious mold. It was also rather loud, with children running around in the hallways.

Because the building is from 1860 it is not very soundproof. I had very noisy upstairs neighbours, probably children. So no blame on the hotel!

Friendly and attentive staff. Hot shower, clean room, comfortable bed. Right next to the Kurfürstendamm. Breakfast is classic but good value.

The general mood: a classic Berlin hotel with a great location, helpful staff and good vibes for anyone looking for something else than soulless chain hotels. Very nice breakfast for the price with good amount of options and nice service.

Nice place with clean rooms. The breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly and provided a nice stay in Berlin. The location is great with several restaurants around the corner. Great location to explore the "old" Western-Berlin city center.

The location is good - good restaurants nearby, a supermarket across the street. Close to the center and Metro. The hotel rooms are super spacious, but the equipment is normal... Breakfast according to the additional fee - very good, for all tastes and sufficient

Very easy to get to and close to the train, everything was very clean, and a great place to sleep to get to the rest of the city.

Old furniture, outdated decor, all a bit creaky and old. The bathrooms are a little bit improvised - just stud partition walls in a bedroom, making it feel a little bit makeshift, and they’re rather small. While showering, you do hit the walls… I haven’t tried the breakfast - it felt too expensive. You can get breakfast in nearby cafés much cheaper.

Good location, good transport links, shops, etc… practical and quiet hotel. Does the job.
