Like Grandmas house from 1972. In major need of refurbishment however it was very clean. Breakfast very basic.

The guest house has a great location & our room had a wonderful view of the castle. Our room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, and the staff is very friendly.

Close to the castels, friendly owner, allowed us to leave the car after check out and pick it up later without any costs( near parking is taking 12€ for 6 hours). Wonderful view from the balcony, breakfast like at home. All was fresh and tasty, warm sandwiches. Room had all what I needed to rest.

The breakfast was mostly meat and cheese and eggs. There was no accomodations for us, and even though we let the host know well in advance, there was still meat cheese and eggs prepared for us (waste of food!).

They had oat milk. We are vegans so we were happy.

The room furnishings were very dated. The door to our balcony did not shut - we used a case to keep it closed While there was a section of food at breakfast, a boiled egg was provided each morning, which we did not want. Also, the meat and cheese was the same each morning, prepared in advance and covered in cling film. This looked unappealing and is not environmentally friendly.

The location was excellent as were the views from our balcony. Our room was a good size. Our host was very quick to respond to all of our requests.

We could not figure out how to lock the door from the inside. Decor a bit tired.

The room view was incredible. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was huge and luxurious. It was a very cozy room. It’s a ‘rustic’ place with charm.

Very friendly staff and a great location, thank you very much for this positive experience and the flexibility with breakfast. Just as information for other guests: There are always a few last minute tickets for the castles available at around 7 am every morning in the main ticket office in the center, so an early bird can catch a worm in case everything is already sold out online...

Nothing that I can note.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to be given a room with a view, for no extra cost, as I had booked one without. The staff were very kind and helpful. I was also taken back by the generous breakfast provided for such small price, delicious and fulfilling.

The only slight issue was that the drain in the shower was slightly blocked so the water pooled in the shower tray while showering.

The castle view was amazing. By the time we arrived most things in town we closed but it was worth the long travel just for the view from the balcony. The castle view was so special and the actual property was beautiful too. It was only the next morning in the daylight we realised that you could also see the Hohenschwangau castle from the front of the property. The staff were really helpful and friendly and breakfast was such good value for 1 Euro!

Property needs some updating- our shower would not drain so we had to turn it off every 30 seconds to prevent floor from flooding. Towels were very thin. Historic house in an attic= creeky floors and low sloping ceilings. Check-in time was a little late- 5 pm. Breakfast was ok, coffee was terrible.

We stayed in the attic suite which had a balcony and a beautiful view of the Neuschwanstein Castle! The house itself was historic and beautiful! Bed was comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and gave us a great restaurant recommendation to Il Pescatore in Fussen- one of our favorite meals of our entire trip! Location was excellent and allowed us to get an early morning hike to the Neuschwanstein Castle, beat all of the crowds & tour buses and get amazing photos!!
