Staff was very friendly, our room was super cozy and clean, breakfast could be placed among those better ones. Hotel is located near / at the centre. So all in all, we were very satisfied with our stay. Thank you.

Outside temperatures were in the mid-to upper 90's so the room at night was a little warm - the oscillating fan helped but not sure why German hotels and private homes don't look into ceiling fans. Our stay at Steichele was still wonderful !!

The location was excellent and the food and wine was DELICIOUS !! I loved the German breakfast and the coffee served was exceptional.

The bathroom in the double room with a king size bed was too small and too close to the bed offering no privacy. But again- we accepted the fact while checking in that the room is generally small.

The hotel is coveniently located in the city centre. The multi storey paid parking is right next to it. The hotel offers a 4-euro discount, so we paid 16 euros per day. The room with 2 single beds and a bathroom was excellent- spacious but cosy. The room with a double bed was small and so was the bathroom but we were warned by the reception in advance so no complaints here. The breakfast was fabulous including a variety of options.

It's not a hotel, it's weather (too warm for me) what made a night in the room not very pleasant. Plus weak wi-fi interrupting all time (need seriously to do some work, phone's hotspot was smooth and reliable).

No air conditioning, and it can get quite hot in summer on the top floor. Just underneath the window, there are the (loud) exhaust vents of the air conditioners from the surrounding buildings, so there was little use opening it. The pillow was too soft.

There is a bar located in the adjacent or neighbouring property. So it was not possible to have the windows open in the night on a weekend night -- bar smokers' smoke drifted right up and in.

Lighting in room was quite dim if you wanted to read at night. Light switches in bed headboard so kept leaning on them and turning them off!!!

Location was about a 15 minute walk from train station, ten minutes to centre. Good selection for breakfast. Room was small but cosy. Good shower.

The coffee from the machine was passable only, but this is standard across all hotels that have these automated coffee machines. The lift was rather small; it could only take 4 people making it very crowded especially for those with luggage.

The efficiency and helpfulness of the staff. The good facilities in the room, especially the bathroom. Good continental breakfast. Overall cleanliness. Lovely evening meal in the restaurant. The location is really good, right in the centre of Nuremberg. A lot to like!

Excellent Breakfast Hotel also attached to its own restaurant where we had a family runion for 24 people in private dinning room. Food was excellent with a wide seasonal menu and was great value for money. Lots of locals eat in the restaurant. Hotel staff are attentive and hotel his been owned and run by three generations of staff. Rooms have been recently been refubished.
