There were a few spiders in our room. My husband had to catch them all as daughter wouldn't be able sleep. You would not expect that in 4* hotel. There was no other room available for a family of 4 to swap. Otherwise it was clean. €12 for a car park

Children were in the Spa area also outside the allowed hours. There is no good quality food option after breakfast, which would be very nice, since the location is a bit isolated.

The staff are not very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and couldn’t provide recommendations for where we could eat lunch, we also were not given any more information about the onsite facilities than the times for breakfast and dinner. The room was very warm and we had to keep windows open all day and night to keep the temperature down (in a cold April!), and the curtains did not block much light so the room became very bright early in the morning. It is a little run down and could do with some care and renovation in places.

We stayed here for two nights as part of a longer roadtrip, the purpose was to relax in the grounds and use the pool. It was great for this purpose, but if I was booking this stay as a spa location I would have been disappointed. Beautiful setting, lovely grounds surrounding the hotel to relax in. There is a lovely small playground for children to enjoy. We had a very spacious room with a lovely view of the lake.

Children's swimming time was restricted to 10-12 and 15-18. I only felt it was a slight downside, as we couldn't use the pool with the children any time of the day.

All staff were very friendly and I felt our convenience and comfort was in their best interests. They were all kind to our children. Kids club had diverse activities. The Easter program they prepared were absolutely the highlights, including the Easter bonfire and egg hunting.

The bathtub is not secured and is dangerous because it is very slippery. This morning I slipped and fell very badly. Luckily I didn't hit my head! It could have ended fatally!

One male receptionist was not very helpful. If he couldn’t answer a question he would not try to get an answer from a colleague. He didn’t know which rooms have a lake view. Definitely a matter of training. Room was very clean. Some cod webs on high ceiling and some areas looked like the need new paint. Tiles missing on the bottom of the pool. Tabs and plug holes look worn and tired.

Amazing lake views. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed that it was possible to get a pedicure. The beautician Frau Schulz was especially nice and professional.The restaurant staff in the evening was super friendly and at breakfast there was a lady in charge who definitely went the extra mile.

The hot water in the shower seemed to run out towards the evening - it wasn't impossible to shower but also not pleasant. It also seemed like things would break randomly, for example the Finnish sauna didn't work one night, and the elevators were also out of order at some point.

Staff were really nice. I really enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel is near a cool historic area called Werder, we walked around with the dog and then came back to warm up in the sauna, which is handily right in the basement. The Havana Bar downstairs is cute and the bartender was nice.

- Food and drink prices were quite high - only buffet option for dinner at a rate of 35 Euro which made us rather go into Potsdam - long line for the breakfast buffet- giving out breakfast slots could be a solution - the treadmill in the gym needs fixing, elevation didn’t work - parking for 10 Euro a day is extortionate especially when you’re a guest at a hotel - when we came into the room it smelled of cold smoke, because although it is a non smoking room, guests are allowed to smoke on the balcony so we presumed that the smoke came from the outside in. We aired out the room for an entire day to get rid of it. If it’s a non smoking room then smoking shouldn’t be allowed on the adjacent balcony of the room either - the steam room in the spa never seemed to work - the quiet area after the sauna is right next to the pool which was barely ever quiet because the pool was mostly used by kids and their parents. They offered kids free time slots in the pool area, but that time was in the middle of the day when most people are out anyways

Beautiful hotel in stunning surroundings only a 10min drive from Potsdam. Rooms were comfortable and clean and the hotel felt all in all very cozy and warm. The interior designers did a great job furnishing the hotel, it was very tasteful and classy. The breakfast buffet was very nice with many options, also for vegetarians. In the spa we enjoyed the Finnish sauna. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

The bed was awful. We are 60/85kg people and literally sank deep into the bed when lying - not sure if all the beds are the same but ours was either too soft/old/missing sth beneath.. We couldn’t sleep. Room service (if you want to order sth from the room service menu) costs extra 10€ to be brought up to your room.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Also nice pool area and good breakfast. We had a massage and couple bath, very relaxing. Many options (bar, spa, restaurant etc)

We stayed 3 nights and didn’t have replacement water in the room or toilet paper. The hot water was very hot and great care was needed in the shower. Also the bed linen didn’t quite fit the bed. Towels and robes were excellent. The sauna was also a little disappointing with the steam room not working on our first sauna visit and the BioSauna on the third sauna visit. Several of the showers were needing some maintenance in the spa area as well. We stayed half board and through enjoyed the discrete service from staff involved during the buffets. The food was of a good variety and tasty.

Lots of loud banging noises, slamming doors, and back and forth rolling of furniture or suitcases until late into the night. Pretty bad sound insulation. I did not like having to pay for parking. The room had odd smell of pool or something. Slightly old fashioned room interior.

Lovely view, great food, good facilities, nice bar, staff were friendly, the spa was lovely. The grounds are beautiful.

As we stayed at the hotel it does seem unreasonable to have to pay for parking in such a location. We used the car to go for dinner and left the next day and was charged €13...a little over the top for staying at the hotel for @19 hours.

wellness was very good, and the family enjoyed the breakfast. The location was perfect and would consider coming back during the summer.
