Rating: 7/10 I had a good stay at the Queens Residenz Hotel for a last-minute booking for one night. The hotel is located in an industrial area, but it's conveniently only a 10-minute walk to the S-Bahn station, which takes you to Brandenburg Gate in about 30 minutes. The hotel has recently been renovated, giving it a fresh look. It's a typical blue-collar workers' hotel, which suits the purpose for short stays. Overall, it's a decent choice for a one-night stay.

The room's airflow is quite bad since there's no AC and not really any way to get fresh air when it's hot outside - however if the weather is a bit chilly it's really nice. The mattress was a bit tough but not too bad, same for the pillows.

We chose this acommodation due to the proximity to Olympiastadion, as we went to Berlin for a concert - honestly, great placement! Really close to a Kaufland and S Bahn Station. The room was spacious, the bathroom was nice and clean, the towels got changed daily. The fridge and cooking unit were a great addition!

Fridge is too big and set to a very cold temperature which needs unnessarily electricity and causes unwanted ice in the cooling section. The stove is unnessessary, especially as the wall is not protected against any splashes. The Wifi signal is weak and only works at the reception and partially on the ground floor near the lobby. Room can heat up on hot summer days.

Brand new room, all still neat and clean. Water pressure in the bathroom is good and the accommodation quiet. Not far from an S-Bahn stop.

The floor in the room seems to still need some cleaning from the construction dust. Wifi is only good at the reception area and fails in the rooms. No places to sit-down at the reception area. No aircon in the room, windows can be fully opened though.

As it is a new place, the interior is brand new and the mattresses still pleasant. The fridge in the room is big and the water pressure in the bathroom is high. Relatively quiet place. Near/ within walking distance to the train station Stresow.

The fact that they got cookers and fridge to store some stuffs, but nothing to use to warm your food nor make even coffee incase you don't intend stepping out . Also on the website its indicated rooms for 2 persons, but after selecting that you see it appears for one person.

I love the fact that the staffs can manage to speak English as well and also the fact that someone is always available to attend to you when you have any issue.

At night it's noisy because of the gap on the sealing or poor partitioning,you can hear your neighbours even when they whisper. Cleanliness should be improved,floor not well cleaned as well as windows Light switch not reliable,sometimes it work sometimes not😜

I could hear alarm in the morning from different room. There was an air filter in the bathroom that was so loud and turned on spontaneously. The stuff did not welcome us at all. After we left the room at 6:00 pm. and we left a message to make up the room and they didn’t.

Although advertised as featuring Wi-Fi on room, the hotel only had Wi-Fi in the reception area. No lobby or place to sit outside, so I couldn't make good use of even that. The Pillow was a standard 40x40 cm pillow and as such massively fluffy, so that when you rested your head on it you were essentially resting your head on the mattress.

Check-In and Check-Out were both easy and fast. Any questions I had were answered immediately and without further doubts. The bed was firm, which is a plus for me. In the rooms there is a TV on a wall mount, with most usual stations available.

The shower never got above Luke warm, the hot water in the tap was freezing. No kettle or way to make a hot drink, it’s a hotel not a prison cell!! This accommodation is either for students or immigrants/refugees and shouldn’t be allowed to advertise as a hotel. Staff are ignorant at best and down right rude, speak English when it suits them but when you lodge a complaint they can’t speak or understand you. I have left this review for a few days to calm down but even now I’m still so angry.

The ‘hotel’ was nothing like the advert, the WiFi is only available in the reception not in the rooms, it’s based in the middle of a industrial estate, nothing in the rooms worked, fridge, oven, hot water, nothing!! Eaten alive by bugs, photos can be provided of the bites!
