The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city in a quiet, green area, perfect for rest. Rooms are spacious and the hotel offers good services. We were on the move but truly enjoyed our stay.

The double beds in both rooms consisted of a single mattress that was probably only 140cm wide since it felt tight for two persons.

Traditional hotel in an exceptional location on the Berghölzchen park area of Hildesheim. The hotel has been tastefully extended to increase room capacity but retains a feeling of togetherness when moving between the newer wings to the main building. Our rooms were exceptionally clean and the bathrooms appeared to be recently renovated. Very friendly and helpful staff. A hearty breakfast buffet was provided in the restaurant to start off the day. Can’t comment about the wellness/sauna facilities though but the bicycle storage room is large and also offers power sockets to charge up an Ebike/pedelec. A number of charging stations are also offered by the hotel to charge up electric cars at a reasonable rate.

The restaurant, the food were overpriced and the sliced beef were one of the worst I have ever eaten, meat was like rubber. The fish was excellent tho.

That you pay for parking in a location like this! Even though we ordered a room with a small bed, it was very small.

Excellent location on the outskirts of Hildesheim. Large clean rooms. The restaurant had a varied choice of delicious food. The service was impeccable. Very good breakfast.

The cleaning staff is very professional and service minded, however they have a habit to chat with each other from one hotel room to another and make noises in the corridors of the hotel when start cleaning the rooms. So if you want an extra hours sleep in the morning, it's wasted. They start to clean at 07-ish in the morning the rooms that guest have checked out from early and the hotel room doors are not that sound proof at all. Before that happened in the morning was a tourist group of elder travelers of mixed South European and Asian origin checking out very early in the morning to continue their bus journey. Apparently they very over-excited over the days event and in combination of not so well fine tuned hearing aids devices. They were as loud as a group of adrenaline-charged school kids on a school trip, shouting at each other in the corridor at 6:30 in the morning and it sounded like they were bowling with their rolling bags against all sorts of walls, corners and elevator doors. You almost thought a rock group had checked in and gone wild on the interior. So the dream of an extra long morning of sleep disappeared and was completely crushed when the cleaning staff later swooped in to clean up the mess left by the pensioner group of tourists. Looking forward to when the automatic hotel cleaning robots make an entry to the hotel world to clean hotel rooms and make beds. At least they are quiet.

Very tasty and rich breakfast buffet. The coffee was surprisingly good, even though it was brewed by a automatic coffee machine. Comfy beds. Good and safe parking places. Excellent food in the restaurant. The view and location is wonderful on the hill top over the city. Nice nature area and peaceful forest environment, not a noisy place with traffic. Easy to have a good night sleep after day of long driving at the highway.

Perhaps I am too picky but for a four star hotel I found the breakfast to be just average. The bread selection was not that large and it was not high quality, tasting like when you heat frozen bread bought at the supermarket. Usually at German hotels the bread is always excellent, but might just have been a bad day. I also had the feeling the breakfast was understaffed as it took some time to bring selections that were empty. Standard check out at 11 is also quite early as I think 12 is the standard for most hotels.

Hotel is located in a quiet area just about 10 minutes from the highway making it good stop over when travelling through Germany. Considering the price for the room during my stay it was definitely good value for the money.

The hotel represented indeed value for money. Next time I'm in the region I will probably stay there again if possible. Located nicely, a little bit by itself, made for a quite relaxing setting. Very nice staff who mastered English if needed. Excellent breakfast. Unfortunately we didn't try the restaurant dinner menu due to our late arrival, but maybe next time. The room was spacious as well as the bathroom. I liked the compact gym that had what I needed and all the equipment in it was fully functional. I was in contact with the hotel before booking our stay and they replied promptly, which gave me a good impression right from the start.

A big problem with barking dogs that were left alone in the rooms. Had to request management to trace room occupant as the dog had barked non stop for 30 minutes in the evening.

There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room. The pillows were soft so we had to ask for more.

Nice room. Good breakfast. Location was picturesque with lovely views. We had a noisy child in a nearby room which was unfortunate. We had a meal in the hotel on the first night which was good but expensive.

It didn't clearly show there were additional parking charges per day during the booking process. Considering the location is well outside the central busy zone the cost could be included with room charge.

The hotel front had a good view over the town and the staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent and it was a nice walking route into the centre of Hildesheim with other walks from the hotel.
