Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Upgraded for my mum's birthday and given two free drinks at the bar. Room lovely and spacious, although a little plain. The bed was sooooo comfortable and it was very clean. Fab location, right opposite the chocolate factory.

LithuaniaWe waited until 17:00 for our rooms to check in, and then we did not get the type of rooms we booked. The rooms were poorly cleaned.
The staff is friendly, but some speak bad English, and you waste a lot of time trying to understand. The breakfast is incredible—there is a wide variety of fresh products. The location is comfortable (7 min walk to the metro station or 20 min by foot to the city center).

New ZealandThis hotel is expensive compared to others we stayed in as was the breakfast. Bed was too hard and air-conditioning in room didn't respond to changes we made to temperature and fan speed. Without a door or curtain the shower spayed onto the shower mat.
We liked the central location; easy walks to Schokolademuseum, along & across the Rhine, to shops in Severinstrasse and other attractions. Reception and housekeeping staff both friendly & attentive to out needs - we had to prolong our stay due to illness. Liked the breakfast buffet. Room was close to stairs and elevator & quiet with window closed.

SpainGreat location, close to the city centre (c.15-20 minutes walk, by the river) while not in being in the most busy area. Also, we could use the parking, which was very convenient. Spacious room (which is particularly nice when staying for several nights or when you’re working). Good wifi connection, we used it to watch Netflix and to have a zoom meeting (c.30min video call).

United KingdomI wouldn’t recommend purchasing breakfast. It wasn’t value for money and becomes quite repetitive after more than one night. There is a cooked option but you will need to seek out a member of staff to order this such as an omelette or porridge. Also this is only a minor point, but the HDMI sockets are blocked in the room so you are unable to access fire sticks or chrome for Netflix. I found this to be a backwards step as many hotels provide access.
The hotel staff were lovely and welcoming. Nice location within 10 mins walking distance to the old town and Cathedral. Room was a nice size and good facilities. Clean and daily servicing. Didn’t use the sauna or bar area.
