Lovely hotel right in the centre of Frankfurt & close to transport routes. Good air conditioning. Comfortable beds. Large spacious bathroom & shower. Electric shutter to block out early morning sun. Nice river views for rooms to the front. Breakfast also nice. Hot & cold options.

Although we really liked the room looking towards the river, one should be aware that it's quite loud at night due to the cars, and quite loud towards the morning due to the ducks and goose at the riverside..

Clean room, large bathroom, comfortable beds and AC worked like a charm. The breakfast was generous with various options. Great location and easy to walk around the tourist sites. We had a room with the view of the river.

The lift was broken

It is in a perfect location by the river , close to the old town but quiet . There are good restaurants nearby and good bars locally including on the other side of the river

My stay at Hotel Schopenhauer in Frankfurt, Germany, was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by the exceptional service and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The room was modern, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities I could need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail in the room’s decor made for a very pleasant environment. I also appreciated the quiet, peaceful ambiance, which allowed for a restful night's sleep. The hotel's location is excellent, providing easy access to Frankfurt's major attractions, shopping areas, and public transportation. It was convenient to explore the city from such a central spot. Overall, Hotel Schopenhauer exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Frankfurt for business or leisure. Five stars!

Honestly the staff wasn’t that helpful and proactive - the undreground parking is not that intuitive (you get there with the car by elevator). From the parking itself as a pedestrian again it was an adventure to find an elevator actually working (there were several but somehow not functioning at the moment). The blankets were for single person and very narrow.

The location of the hotel - very central, the view over the river, the amenities (Rituals shower gel and cream), the fact that it had parking.

Water flow in the bathroom sink was terrible. Carpeted floors also not in the best condition.

No ramp to get into the hotel, had to carry suitcases up entrance steps. No kettle or cups or tea / coffee making facilities in the room. View from the room was of back alley and car park.

We arrived with no passports no cash and very hungry. I'd left my handbag which contained everything, on a train. We were given a delicious and full tray of food. Next morning the young receptionist offered €10 from her own purse.. This hotel is only 550 meters from a station. That station, Konstablermache, is just 3 stops from main station, but we had to buy tickets.

Breakfast was good with some hot items. The room was a good size with two separate single beds and a separate sitting area. As we were travelling by bike, the secure garage, accessible only by a car lift, was a bonus. The staff were most helpful and friendly. Wifi worked well. Location was also very good, within walking distance of the river, public transport, eating places and some tourist sites.

The shower had what appeared to be dark mold spots along the floor. My shower towel was thread bare and had several small holes.
