Lack of air conditioning in room.

Great location, amazing castle view from our terrace and a versatile breakfast with a good selection of cold and hot dishes. I definitely recommend and will come again.

Parking a challenge and spaces 8-9 not suitable for low cars. Put in the wrong room and moved after we’d unpacked. Butter at breakfast was out of date but I was told that was fine for a week!?

The third bed for our child was not comfortable at all. It was a sofa bed.

Highlight of this property is the breakfast! Most delicious continental breakfast! And the cappuccino coffee was so tasty. The next best thing is the location. Everything was close by.

Weak hairdryer. The beds were very comfortable, the extra couch beds were alright. We also didn't expect them to be as comfortable as real beds.

Impressive Breakfast Experience! Having stayed in numerous hotels, Traumblick stands out with its top-notch breakfast offerings. From renowned coffee, tea, juice, etc. brands, quality surpasses mere variety of 4 stars hotels. Each morning, we eagerly postponed our tour-plans just to indulge in the breakfast spread. Despite one of our rooms having a compact bathroom, it hardly dampened our spirits, as the overall ambiance was cozy and inviting. The friendly and attentive staff further enhanced our stay, displaying genuine enthusiasm in assisting guests. Moreover, the hotel's picturesque riverside location, boasting a splendid view of Reichsburg, added to its charm. Without a doubt, if we find ourselves in Cochem again, Traumblick will be our first choice for accommodation.

Very basic hotel/room and unprofessional staff. E.g. 1) 80% of all shops, bars and restaurants were closed because it's off season. When asking for help (in German) regarding where to have dinner, the reception lady didn't help us to find a solution ('no idea which restaurants are open today'). E.g. 2) Also, after having breakfast between 8AM en 9AM, the cleaning ladies showed up at our door at 9.10 AM while we were taking a shower. When requesting to come back at 9.20 AM, they agreed, but ended up in not returning at all that day and just dropping a bag with towels at the front door.

Great location (1 bridge away from the city center), spacious and silent room with comfortable bed, easy/cheap parking spot and good german breakfast and service.

Room could be cleaner, there were some dusty spots (admittedly, we were outside of the season).

We loved this hotel! Both room and bathroom are spacious. Furniture is very well-thought and comfortable. Adjustable heating; very quiet fridge, good cups for tea/coffee and water glasses, plenty of sockets – we really valued all those pleasant details. Location is perfect! Good coffee and good breakfast.

Only breakfast is served, no option for dinner. Extra coffee is charged rather than being free. Parking (especially the one which is on the opposite side of the road in 100 m away) is not very comfortable. Parking lots are very narrow.

I didn't like two things in the hotel which is very significant. The first is that you don't change towels every day, you just take the same towel and fold it and that's it. The second that at exactly 11 in the morning when we were actually supposed to release the room without any consideration they knocked on our room why we are not leaving, I explained that we are a family and it will take another 20 minutes. If not for these two things I would give a higher rating.

We got a large family room, we really liked it. The hotel itself is a simple 3 star level but everything is clean, rooms are cleaned very well. A sufficient breakfast. Very good location.

Rooms are really clean, tidy and comfortable. Breakfast is great. Location is a good walking distance to the town center, boat rides and leisurely and refreshing walk along the river.

Like I said needs a facelift. Kitchen and bathroom especially. A proper kettle would of been appreciated

The hotel was in a prime spot for us as it had parking just 100yards on the opposite side of the road that was free, which we’ve found in German towns it’s rare. The room was very spacious, a little dated in the lounge and bathroom and kitchen, could do with a facelift. But a nice balcony to sit on on an aft was a real bonus. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory, reasonable choice. Coffee machine in kitchen was great, but a small kettle would have been even better, couldn’t get the tap thing in kitchen to work right to heat water. Overall enjoyable stay

Parking was a bit of a hassle if not able to park in the few spots directly in front of the hotel.

Beautiful views of the town, far enough away to avoid the crowds of the tourists but close enough to enjoy the tourist activities

One of the couches in room 306 had a recess on one side, a hole. The person who was sleeping there, slept very badly. We had a view from the windows to the back of the building. It is quite a sad sight. We booked the apartment for 6 adults, and there were only 4 capsules by the coffee machine (yes, I know it could have been a good gesture from the hotel, but unfortunately some people watched others drink coffee and they unfortunately didn't). The car park is about 250-300 meters from the hotel, which is not ideal when traveling.

Lovely breakfast! So much choice, such a perfectly stocked buffet. Excellent! There was almost everything you could wish for for breakfast. Views from the dining room of the beautiful hills, the river and the entire city center. Hotel very close to everything. In a few minutes you can get to all the most interesting attractions of the city on both sides of the river.

It was a little bit on the pricey side even if it was in the middle of the week, low season.
